Setting up the monopod on the sirui W2204 tripod

The Sirui W2204 tripod has a removable mono-pod, in this video I show you how to set it up and use it.
I also show you the Sirui L10/ L20S tilt heads by Sirui, these are made specifically for mono-pods

I've got the L20S from Dean & find it a great Monopod head keeping the camera straight & level. I also put the head on my tripod (hence the advantage of the pan aspect) when I'm shooting birds when crouched down. Not sure about the L10 but the L20S also has the option to rotate the arca swiss plate through 90 degrees so you can change it from suiting an L bracket (sideways) to a collar mount (forward & backward) on a bigger lens. Good build quality and reliable gear.

Thanks Larry, glad you are liking the L20S. With the L10 there is no option to turn the arca swiss plate 90 degrees. So if you have an L bracket then the L20S is definitely a better option.

interesting that you say it's Arca Swiss, as my M 2204 was a TY plate, looks similar to an Arca in dovetail, but NOT to be confused with one.

Have you any idea where to purchase “Skims”Plastic type washers, allowing for tripod legs to operate for the W2204???

Regarding to Sirui L 10 tilt head.
There is the degree printed on the side
But where is the indicator to point the degree?
I could not see any.

Hi, there isn't a pointer but the degrees are read where it intersects at the base, have a look at the zero setting and you will get what I mean, cheers
