Woah, a 1:24, I thought speedruns of 3D world would be like 2-3 hours, but It’s only about a quarter slower than 3D Land speedruns despite 3D World being a much bigger game, you’ve impressed me, divinely executed run! ^^

it's the first time I come across a super mario 3d world speedrun, and even tho I didn't understand most of the tricks I can say this was amazing to watch! I could remember every single level from the time I would play the game as a kid, I spent years trying to 100% it and never could because of the last level lol. maybe this could serve as a sort of motivation to finish

Hi. During the course of the run i use 2 key movement techniques called Crouch Boosting & vectoring. Crouch boosting is where you gain speed from leaving a crouched state so we can abuse this to gain a lot of speed. Vectoring can be achieved by jumping at 45 degree angles which helps you to build up speed. Using these 2 key movement tricks allows you to get crazy amounts of speed. If you want to know more there are many resources in the 3D World speedrunning discord server attached on the Speedrun.com page. Hope that helps! ^-^
