What questions can we answer about the Jeanneau Leader / Cap Camarat 10.5 series 2? Enjoyed exploring this similar length hull to our Jeanneau NC 1095.

Great boat. It's on my top 5 serious contender list. Here's some unwanted video making advice, slow down, relax, know in advance what to say until it becomes easier, do multiple takes if needed and edit out what you don't want to use. Keep it simple. You're obviously knowledgeable and passionate and it shows, but keep it simple, no need to say how many liters or kilograms, one measurement system works fine. People that care can do quick conversions in their head. Again, slow down, relax or do a voice over when you're relaxed and don't feel the pressure. I've made tons of videos for teaching high school students, and this was the same advice someone gave me when I first started. Great job, I really enjoy your videos and passion.

Thank you for liking the content. I need all the advice I can get on videos, thank you. I am working on slowing down, and multiple takes. What other boats are on your list?

Hi Dave, very good explanations on that boat. However my current interest is where the A/C is installed. I can see metallic grills in the salon's starboard closet, as well in the aft cabins first starboard closet. Do these closets contain two A/Cs or is it only one providing both cabins? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the comments. The 10.5 has one 12,500 BTU AC unit (in the salon) with three vents; in the main salon, to the aft cabin and to the helm. I contacted the owner of the Leader / Cap Camera 10.5 we toured to ask his experience. He says the AC, Heat and Dehumidifier work well in all three locations (in N. Florida we need both heat and AC, depending on the time of year).

Awesome video! Is that prefessional camera work or what? Ha ha! It really turned out great though Dave. Thanks for sharing.

Whyyyyy do Americans never spec teak or artificial teak flooring when ordering boats?! I don't get it. Bare GRP is so uncomfortable underfoot and looks like crap, and those clip-in rugs are dirty and gross after two seasons at the latest. I'd argue that 0% of boats ordered by European customers have no teak.
Otherwise - it's a sensible, practical, well-built boat that just isn't... sexy. It's a 'dad boat'. I know you'll struggle to get your hands on one in the US, but try to find and review a Fiart Seawalker 35. Roughly the same size, about the same cost, also sleeps four and entertains 8+, but so much sexier. Now THAT is a boat in that class I aspire to.

The Seawalker is sexy looking for sure, with a nice layout. Would love to get on board one, but have not seen any around where I live in Florida.
The Cap Camarat 10.5 is more utilitarian (or, a dad boat). The other difference, beyond style, is a larger cabin below, which is important to some people an not others. I am not sure why fewer boats in the US are ordered with teak, i love the look and feel of it personally.
I remain partial to our 1095, because of the enclosed cabin and how we use the boat for both overnight trips and day boating. I am always on the look out for our next boat.

    212 gal = 800 liter

Damn math. Yes it is 800 liters fuel in two 400l tanks.
