- In this demonstration, we will test fireworks that are in excess of 3-6 years old, and test their strength. Fireworks are great when they are purchased fresh off the market, but does it really matter if they are new? Enjoy.

“I love it when we don’t know what fireworks are gonna do”
ATF - “Say that again into the mic”
Ok for some reason that made me laugh 😂 definitely an underrated comment
absolutely not underrated wtf
@@TrianglePants you have your opinion but respect Tommy's
@@Gigachad-ct2wv
nah
just plain wrong
I heard that.
I wish I was so young that something five years old is “super old”... 😢
I have an entire plastic container full of DOT Class C fireworks. Pull some out for 4th of July, etc. Was really into Fireworks when I was young in the early 90’s. These RUclips channels are making me want to try some new stuff though.
Can't ever beat the old fireworks!
We used to have some bottle rockets that were at least 20 years old.Lit them off and they all worked fine
I have some black cat silver fox bottle rockets I bought at a roadside fireworks stand that I dont think was even legal... they really never worked that great...
@@lobopiro4732 You can't actually buy bottle rockets in Canada, we got them through a family friend who lived in Florida state who was throwing them away lol.

Bro those are worth so much why light them they’re literally relics
My grandparents have a bucket of firecrackers and bottle rockets that are like over 10 years ild and im trting to convise them to give me the bucket
Record it if you ever light it
@@skreptical ok
Steal it
@@thatkjguy0 dont steal them, you shouldn’t take what isn’t yours. It’s a sin
@@timscoviac ok momma i wont
I Live in Australia and the only fireworks I can get are old ones from the 80s and 90s I think if you keep your old fireworks in good condition they can be just as good if better and I make my own fireworks with only sparklers and party poppers and some of these look familiar good vids keep doing what you do :)
That first Ground Bloom almost got your ass ctfu. 😂
It did it was like get your ass over here
i'm surprized that most of them went off with a bang
One of the things that sets 1.4 Consumer Fireworks apart from 1.3 Professional Fireworks is the chemicals used to make them can not degrade over time. So as long as you keep them dry and protected they will still light. The colors may Dull out over time or the bang may not be as Good. But it will most likely still Perform.
@@VioFax cool idea, I didn't think of that one👍👍
I liked that verse at the end of the video!
I like fireworks
Me too
Nice
Same
No u dont
I laugh when you talk. Thank you.
Love the feeling of the firework working after years
yes
Honestly same rules as storing pills amd medication apply to fireworks. Like exactly the same. Most importantly is moisture...
Fireworks don’t really expire but they are recommended to be used immediately
7:57 that hit a squirrel 🤣
My buddy had a big box of over 200 fireworks from the 1990s And all of them worked perfectly
You must had fun
I had firecrackers and bottle rockets I saved for three years and they all worked fine. Granted they were stored in a paper bag in my closet but still. I think as long as they don’t get wet or have the fuse bent too much they will be ok
AYAAN
Had a pack of Black Cats from 1975, they worked fine!
Tgvee
Really cool video, i'd love to see you light off more old fireworks.
I had a matt of Black Cats that my father gave me in 1976. They were like 20 years old. He said he was saving them for the Bicentennial and when I was old enough. Today I wish I saved them. Keep them in a cool dry place and they'll last. I had practically no duds with that matt. I didn't even need to go fireworks shopping last year because of the staggering amount of leftovers. Plenty of cakes from buying stuff by the case or wholesale over the years. I had spinners, firecrackers and the bottle rockets that were most of the duds. The jumping jacks were terrible. They were awesome and came in 16per pack when I was a kid. The cakes, some a decade old worked fine and the same with canister shells.
The fire cracker I thank get louder when old
About five years ago I found a box of fireworks that had been sitting in storage for about thirty years. Bunch of old cakes and mortar kits and original Zenith Specialties Buzz Bombs that were DOT class C so I know they were made before 1995. Zippers are fun I bought a whole case this year 960
I have fireworks dated back to 2006!!!! Greeting from the Netherlands
I still have fireworks from like 10 years ago and they still work
I love hangin with you and lighting fireworks and you are so fun! Love your voice and personality. Would love to have a friend like you ! Thanks
Looks they,got old,and depreciated.👍
Ur hilarious bro. 😂
Set off the looks like a bomb smoke bomb
Anyone else worries he's doing this in a Forrest?
Yeah. but he know what hes doin.
ATF would like to know his location.
My opinion of really old fireworks is those fireworks aren't that old lol
Nope, if your gonna call it old it has to at least be DOT Class C or older. Not something left over from last season,😂🤣😂
Heck YEAH!! I have a few packages of firecrackers from 25 years ago. Live in Winnipeg and always used to go over the border into Grand Forks and Fargo to load up and try to go home. 😂 Ended up blowing up lots down there...
I've lit fireworks that I've had for over 30 years and they worked fine.. but they were in a box in the garage, away from the sun and the rain
Got some that are 25 years old and they all work fine.
I have a 50 year old fireworks but I feel like it’s 1000 year old though
I have some old stuff....i live just prolly 2 hrs south of you if you're talking about boomcity in Washington state...i haven't bought any fireworks in Washington since i moved here from iowa...i always make a road trip to iowa and Missouri to pickup fireworks and visit family...you can get the good stuff there.
That's so cool!
as long as fireworks are kept in a low humidity environment and not in a damp basement or garage, they will work as intended I personaly found a stash of vintage class C fireworks in a wall of a house that we were renovating , receipt still in one of the many boxes found showed 7-1 -1971 .
Being the pyro that I am, I of course had to light them , everything worked like new
I’ve got some ground blooms with report that are fully packaged and about 15 years old, might do a comparison video with new ones soon
That one firework @9:00 looks like a skinny reggie
3:59 CHILL BUMPS I will never forget that pop, just like the PH theme
Fr? Black cat bottle rockets are always old asf.
We used to put ground bloom flowers in beer bottles and they’d melt a hole in the bottle
Ik have firecrackers from 1991 tey also works (from the Netherlands)
Als vuurwerk verboden word kan je nog wat afsteken dus.
Jup maar deze knul denkt met een spinner van 2 jaar oud dat het prehistorisch is.
Echt he
Nl lekker
GEKOLONISEERD
I have bottle rockets from 5 years ago and they still worked
I wheezed and laughed my ass of when i saw the first three
i miss the old Ground Bloom Flowers that spun for like 30 seconds and turned several different colors.
They were cool nice to see that some still worked after so many years
Love your videos keep it up
I guess it all depends on storage, how good or bad they still work over time.
I've seen firecrackers from the 70's, 80's and 90's, work just as good as they worked back then.
Afaik, dry storage is the most important thing with fireworks, and that also includes the humidity in the air.
I think its cool how old fireworks still work and that way you can see if the companies are improving their "cheap" fireworks or going even cheaper. Thats so dope you had them for 6 years! i would go through them in 2 days haha
I love this
Nice Video! And this old Fireworks😍
Boom City, ah the memories, I knew I recognized that larger shooting spot you go to. (not that it has anything to do with Boom City)
I had a bag of fireworks for 3 years now and im waiting to try them out
On Fourth of July this year lit a smoke bomb that had been sitting in my garage for probably like 2-4 years and it blew up in my hand and now I have a nasty blister
I’m a kid i loved lighting those zinger fireworks aka the one that hit your pinkie bone
I love the Chinese tank fireworks I get them every year
Congratulations on 70k
A friend in another state who isn't me sent me a video of himself lighting a 2 inch salute from the 1930s or 40s and it worked perfect
Those aren’t considered very old though, I have known
fireworks from the 1970s era been found or just sitting in someone’s house
all those years and still worked remarkably well after four decades or so, thats
the stuff people collect though that is valuable and most don’t like to burn that
stuff off.
My grandpa has a firework that they would sell back in 1962 it looked like a cannon and u had to put special powder inside and water and it still works till this day! And its super loud
And it's NOT a firework. It's a carbide cannon and they still sell them today. Check Conestoga Cannon and you'll find the powder (carbide) and everything else you need
As a dutch person i can confirm that carbide shooting is loud
this was so cool and old fireworks never get old...and last thing.keep it up
7:40 I agree best things
Bro that fire work on7:53 sounds like it ate Taco Bell
Had some fireworks that were at least 12 years old, all worked as should. As long as they are kept from being damaged and are safely stored, there shouldn’t be a problem.
Awesome video
I think old fireworks work fine as long as they aren’t left outside like you said and get wet, then they should be okay. I use to love lighting those little zips that shoot in the air but when I got them they were called ground blooms, sadly I can’t find them anymore in my state
I got some 14 yr old fp3 nitrates, they impress all my friends
I had a string of firecrackers sitting in my closet for 3 years and I ripped it apart and lit off the singles and I did the same thing with a brand new string and the old ones were louder than the new ones
Dude those were awesome where did you find those
I have fireworks still left over that’s in a bag on my shelf
Where do you get your waterproof plastic fuse
i remember as a kid in the 90's my grandad used to do a firework display for us and he used to bend over them to light them with his cigarette ! and not move away from them !! so funny
The camera and gimball are the most impressive
I have a case of 60 gram canister shells that i didn't know i had from about 4 years ago just sitting in the back of my closet was never opened hope they're still good to go...
All the firework is still doing anything
A firework shop I went too gave me 500+ zips because I spent $200 there. I have them to this day, had em for a year
I'm definitely going to buy a firework this year
keep up the good work
Cool video
Well hello twin
Haha
Love it
Great video! 😀
Your definition of old and mine differ quite a bit. I still light off fireworks from the early 70s and 60s lol
Love your videps
CFR Racing ok
In my opinion old fireworks are volatile, dangerous, and fun
Was that tank New
I have 30 year old firecrackers, it still work.
Love fireworks
Still have a stash from like 2006 and they work fine. lol
it's funny you mention boom city considering I live really close
Wow nice! ;)
i wish he could make more content bc i like to watch this stuff but i don’t think he’s ever gonna post again
Same....
I just found a lego case filled with with marbles and jumping jacks i had this case from 1992 havent lit any of them yet but in pretty good condition
I like the nails
Old fireworks: check
Forest fire: check
I think old fireworks are still really fun and cool
