You mentioned that you are cleaning shopping centers with that setup and that you are able to move pretty much at a normal walking pace. What is the GPM of your pressure washer and what tips do you typically install on the 24" surface cleaner for concrete? And Hot or Cold water??

I install what ever gpm tip your pump is on your pressure washer. For instance a 4 gpm pump I install 2.0 gpm at 40 degree tips.

Yes that's all I use, a 3/8 nipple- DN10- Mosmatic swivel- 3/8 coupler. I also generally run nipples- away from pump and couplers towards the pump this way when dragging the hose around the yard the coupler won't catch on anything.

Raising the bar and fitting 40 degree jets may work for easy concrete jobs in the states. You are actually reducing the pressure and cleaning power. I guarantee this would be detrimental to block paving cleaning in the U.K....all common sense🤷‍♂️

The degrees do not have anything to do with psi or gpm ??? Common sense 🤔

If you increase the distance from the surface and spread the fan of water the cleaning power is reduced. I'm not saying it affects the gpm. What your doing will work on easy concrete like you say it enables you to work quicker but when cleaning block paving full of moss in the joints you have no chance.

Yep there is a reason they are made the way they are.
Wider angle equals less cleaning power, increase distance from tip to surface equals less cleaning power.
Nothing is for free.
I’m all for doing what you need, and if that works for you, great.
