From the moment our daughter was born, I looked at her tiny, beautiful hands, and I wondered how God would use them and use her for His glory. She surrendered to Christ when she was very young, and has been His light to so many over the years. She’s now 24 years old, and she is in full-time ministry with FCA, ministering to student athletes and their coaches at the high school and college levels in several states across the south. This song is such a gift, I have my first grandchild due in July, a grandson ❤️he will be named after his Grandpa my sons dad that passed away when my son was 7, my son wants to honor his dads memory by naming his boy after his daddy. This child is a miracle in so many ways, according to doctors I shouldn’t still be alive and here but I am BUT GOD❤right! I get to hold my first grandbaby soon God willing. A young boy with a severe handicap recently came up to us after a show shared with us that this was his favorite song… because his parents sing the chorus to him and he’s reminded of their unconditional love for him… just like the unconditional love God has for us. God bless you and your family! ❤️
First, I'm sorry. Truly. I can't imagine how difficult the situation must be for her or you, but it isn't necessarily true that what you're currently experiencing is the end of the story. I'm reminded of Mephibosheth in the Bible...your daughter may grow up to sit at the table of kings. She may be the one chosen to be raised up as proof to the whole world that Jehovah Rophe heals and does miracles. She may be the one God knew He could trust to still love Him and be used by Him in spite of the handicap to reach others who can relate to her plight, like the famous & beloved author/radio host/painter Joni Eareckson Tada. She may outdo all of us!! We all have to walk by faith and speak those things that be not as though they were (as hard as it usually is)because we can't teach our children to dream and be in expectation if we can't, and it's just not the way to receive from the Lord or protect their/our emotional well-being. I pray that the Lord's will be done and that her life will be abundantly favored and bring Him glory, in Jesus' name. Who knows, I may one day get to watch her share her testimony on t.v. and rejoice: I can't wait to see what God is gonna do!!! 💗🙏
It’s absolutely still true, God uses us all for HIS purpose, not ours. My grandma was paralyzed and I thought he was the most amazing person, most amazing man, most amazing grandpa, and aside from Jesus is single handedly made the biggest impact on me in SO many ways that no one else ever could.
