Quick Update: I just had a 3G fallback. It only happened once and I don't really know if I would call it a fallback because it happened after I tried calling on a non-VoLTE certified phone but it did stay at H+ for a good few minutes after it was placed. Just thought I should mention it
I ported out my phone number to Fizz from Telus. And it was a nightmare. 5 consecutive dropped calls. And I was done. That was just the beginning. Then Videotron/Fizz did not release my phone number when porting out. So not only was my port out improperly done. Fizz threatened to hold my phone number for the next month.
Great video! I'm glad I could find such an in-depth review, especially one that isn't affiliated with the service they're reviewing. I might have suggested not even putting the referral code in the description for that purpose, but honestly the review seemed honest enough and there were enough negative points that I don't take any issue with it. A small suggestion for the future though, adding in the referral code takes a little bit away from the not sponsored point. In any case, thanks for the review! I'm looking to get a second phone and phone number, so I'm shopping for cheap plans right now and this was definitely informative. A quick video tip is to wait a second after you finish talking before you move to turn off the camera. Since each cut has a bit of you reaching for the camera, that would make it much more of a seamless experience (which the rest of the video is already pretty good with). And as someone with hair just as curly as yours, it'd make you look more professional if you put some water in your hair and dried it out a bit before filming to tame the frizz a bit. It's a constant issue for me, and I've found that curl defining cream also works wonders. That said, I can't be sure whether you're going for a professional look in the first place, so feel free to take anything I say with a grain of salt. I plan to subscribe, but your count is at 661 so I'm going to check back later in hopes I can be number 666 ;)
Thanks for the advice. I honestly wasn’t sure if I should put the referral code in the video/description, as you mentioned it makes the video more corporatised (if that word makes sense). Also thanks for the tip. That will give me a bit more leeway to make cuts within editing. I could probably also do that with the start of each clip as well. And to the point about professionalism, I’m trying to get better with that. To be fair, I still want to leave a little bit of sense that the video is homegrown and not corporation owned or sponsored but I’m open to making it look as professional as I can make it as a 1 man operation. (Also as of writing this, I made it to 666😁)

My sim should be here anytime now service sucks here in London Ontario no matter what provider you are on, so being able to switch when one service is low is amazing for example in Walmart and my school where rogers works but nothing else dose another edit: my school has wifi calls blocked which was very annoying for the three years I've been there made my mom join Snapchat just so i can text her

Does Fizz ext resolve itself?
Will it switch to the actual Fizz network and if so how long did that take?
@@user-bs9uc7nz4r Fizz EXT doesn’t resolve itself! Continues to drop calls! Fizz sucks. I would even say Freedom’s EXT is better 😂

Leave the referral code, it helps both of us. I'll be signing up in the next few days and will use your code!
Excellent video all considered and will absolutely help decide between two choices. Thanks so much also for referral code
No problem.
Thank you so much for this video. Very informative.
Cab you do a full video on all the budget phone plans available in Canada? Im looking for a cheap but good quality phone plan for my business phone
I’m actually thinking about doing exactly that
Great video
Thanks
Transfer a number to Fizz, take less then 30 minutes.
It does, if it doesn’t fail. It took 90 minutes to say that I didn’t respond then I tried again and it worked within 10 minutes.
Yo does fizz mobile work in Canada Mississauga
Yes, it does since freedom has service in mississauga. Look at the subscription area on the Fizz website
Yeah, and just to note that Freedom has 5G in that area too (probably didn’t need to know that but there you go)

@@tornow1500you hear that Roger raised there connection fee to 70 dollars , that's insane
The relatively expensive price for the SIM card is totally worth it. For that extra $5 (1 time), you get huge savings (ongoing)
True, and with the $25 referral bonus, it kind of cancels out, but thats still a hard pill to swallow for the service

So your school blocks WiFi Calling activations but allows Snapchat? My school thankfully is the other way around. Hope you enjoy Fizz though!😃
@tornow1500 so far, it's amazing. love that it switches carriers when I lose service on one I turned on LTE only it's even better
