I always liked this and Anvil way more than Emissary. I think Emissary being the more popular Ignite sim is just a classic case of folks using their eyes instead of their ears
cool video there....I just recently discovered TPA -1 ..as a platform for some analog pedals im runnin thru ..... its very good ...with pulse loader ....
I'm starting to think that Harley Benton and your skill is the key to all this amazing tone and crunch. You could load up WinZip and it would sound amazing. Regardless, I will put this on my list to check out soon and put this to the test.
Hi Resington! I'm hoping for you to do a round-up vid of the best free bass amp-sims someday, including the best free IR's. :D (Would also personally appreciate more advice geared towards general rock as well, not just metal.)
@@resington There is a 20$-off voucher promo for Plugin Alliance today. So many discounted amp-sims redeemable for free! Do you have an opinion on Brainworx stuff?
It's a great amp. I've used long time ago. But nowadays for high gain, my favorites free amp sims are the Nalex Ninja and the VtarAmps P.R.O.T.O. Four.
@@MaximusAdonicus Fairly easy to research and I did my own sound tests to make sure. Obviously not exactly the same as the X88R since NRR-1 and its hardware counterpart is a mod of that amp, but the sound is there. Anvil is just an original design afaik, so that one's not based on anything. It does have a hardware counterpart too, though.
Kinda getting engl 530 vibes am I the only one? Its not a 530 emulation but separate preamps do kinda sound similar to each other the sound is heavily eqd like in a modern way
Its got such a good "growl" comparred to Emisarry which has a much more "clean" distortion if that makes sense.

It sounded a lot like the Five Finger Death Punch guitar tone from the American Capitalist - Wrong Side Of Heaven era

Ignite Amps is awesome! I still have this plugin, don't use it very often, but it sounds so great! Emissary is great too!

Thanks man. The IRs help a lot too.
Loving that tone right off the rip
Heyyy man good to see you here! Gotta say it's too good for free, soldano emulation apparently.
crunchy metal precision ! 👹👹👹
This plugin has always been a super beast. Loved the video, man, keep going
Cheers Ale!
Great job as always man. I remember trying it a long time ago and it was a lot of fun.

@@dare2liv_nlove they sound great. Tried the vh4 and megadual a while back.
For sure man. Anvil and NRR kick Emissary off the map for me. Another killer demo \M/
Ignite stuff always sounds awesome with minimal eqing
God damn this dude could get a sick tone out a nest of hornets 🔥🔥🔥

Proto4 is amazing.
That's a great plugin. I used to play a lot with it. Their pedal emulations are cool too!
Never heard of this one, but I'll definitely be trying it out.
Sounds great dude, and killer riffage!
Cheers sir!!
can't go wrong with a Soldano preamp!
Oh, it's based on a Soldano? Did not know that.
@@MaximusAdonicus yep, based on the Soldano X88R to be exact
@@nmnk-emy Oh. How do u know this, mister? 🤔 Is The Anvil based on something too then?

@@nmnk-emy Welp, I don't have a X88R lying around, so... 😁 My research on this topic has been nil 🤷♂
Definitely better than Ive ever got this sounding or anyone else for that matter 🤘
Cheers J, you should shred through this!
These ignite and stl amphub plugins are great
It chugz 🤘🎸 cheers
Of all the amp sims you tried, which one do you think most real?
Vadim taranov sims have the best feel and sound. MK4 my favourite.
Ugh why isn't this on Mac! Do you think it'll run with Rosetta??
It is on mac, I think.

True. They all fit into the a similar vibe. For me it's about the response and where the mids sit.
What are you using for screen cap?
OBS. My screen isn't full HD though which sucks.
@@resington Okay cool TY
tuning please?
A sharp.
@@resington cheers
Would you say the Emissary was made out of this one?
No idea 🤔
I just put it today against the Pectifier and I think the pecto won but they were pretty close.
dude check out roots 2.0 by ml soundlab its soooo sick!
Already done it man! 👍😁
