It is nice to know someone like Amy can be fan obsessed like me. I actually had a question about a scene that confused me in NCIS. I wrote the episode's writer and he kindly wrote back to me to explain the scenes that explained deleted scenes were on the cutting room floor would have made it all clear. I felt so important.

On a serious note I loved ER when it first came out because it was VERY realistic. I am a nurse so when you watch shows it's easy to be critical. The first 2 seasons were the best and the actors were wonderful. I don't think I've seen a medical show since that made me feel as though it was real. The writing was also terrific!

OK, there is NO way that Amy Poehler has NOT had plastic surgery done on her face! (Ooh, sorry about the double negative)...Two things that look different to me: The shape of her face, and the fullness of her bottom lip. (She was doing something weird with her bottom lip, too; an expression I’ve never seen her make before). As for the shape of her face, it used to be square-jaws and chin-and now it’s not! They probably did a bit of a lift, too. As soon as she came onscreen I thought, “She barely looks like herself!” And no, weight loss would not account for such changes....Anyone else see what I did?
Edit: I’ve read through the comments, and agree that she now (kinda) looks like Emily Blunt...As for her newly shiny skin? It’s been pulled taut, so, yeah. This reminds me of when Renee Zellweger re-did her face, and no longer looked like herself, but sort of generically “attractive”. I still feel that such radical surgical alteration comes from a deeply insecure place. Too bad.

I think she looks incredible. It looks more like she gained weight, that isn't a bad thing. She had a baby at some point, and that could also contribute to the changes. Plus, the quarantine has affected a lot of peoples weight.

Amy just effortlessly oozing charm and charisma like there ain't no tomorrah!!! 🤩 I can genuinely relate to the lockdown cabin fever that she was hinting at. I work from home. I spent the holidays alone with my pooch princess, in my bed watching documentaries narrated by Sir David Attenborough. God, this winter is the loneliest period of my life.
I love ER so so so much. Noah Wyle was the first tv actor that I was PAINFULLY in love with. The only thing that could make it better is knowing Amy Poehler loves it (and him) too.
I couldn’t never get into another medical drama after ER. It gave me everything I needed.
