Kizer, Kansept, and Artisan rule this price point. The Kizer Hawk (non-DLC), Kansept Fenrir, and Artisan Cutlery Revel are also great at right under $200. Asher also competes with great premium options under $200. But to me, the Tallboy is the best cost-to-value knife, period.
The KB Knives Decimal and Steelhead both awesome options too. Ya I would say keep looking at KB Knives, Divo, Tempest and Kansept all will have models that fall into that premium under $200 💯🔥 Great video brother 🙌🏻
Good thoughts JD! I saw the MBK Laconico designed Sabretooth and that was a crazy deal while it was there. I also like the C. Risner slipjoints - premium steels and materials for under $200, just slipjoints.
I really like my Bridgeport 1827 FL Ti. Rough stonewash looks great, looks similar to acid wash. msrp is 245 but I got a discount well under the 200 mark.
@ I don’t think the premium mini is available on Amazon. Unfortunately that’s the only place I can shop online. Oh never mind. I just looked. I thought I had been looking at the full sized version.
I think premium as including super steel, if it's 154CM, 14C28N, or similar steels, I still consider that a budget friendly steel with premium handle materials. Very good, but the super steel for me personally bumps it up to very special.
In reference to your elimination of the Supercell. I would argue that the 14C28N treated well by Kubey, preforms as well as S35VN. So there, nho naw do daw. While we are at it, its common for M390 to be treated soft, to level of playdoh in the name of toughness.
Asher knives would be a good candidate for the conversation.
If they were more readily available I would have added them 💯
I was just thinking the same thing. Got a Ti Spiro S90V on the way.
Divo kills it at the $200 price-point.
Yeah, they're definitely great for the price. 💯🙌

Yeah I did try and stick to ones that are readily available but Divo and Asher are bangers too.
Mini Growler just came in. It’s a great value.
@@lord.needham for sure! 👍

Appreciate it, there are definitely a lot of great options!👍
That Mars Valley Millitaw is $249😳
@@roadracerqx893 they are always running a sale or discount code so it is usual $180-190
@ ….Will look for one, but that’d have to be 20+% discount….post it up if you see it! Thanks😎
For an under $200 premium knife, you can't go wrong with Miguron

Actually the MBK brings up a point I did not mention. Under $200 and readily available to buy. 💙👍
so many on my wish list
@@kathleensmith370 the wish list is always longer than the owned list.
I own the Militaw, but would be happy to have any one of the others in my collection! Thanks, JD!!
Thanks brother 🙌💙 lots of great suggestions also made in the comments. 👍
I got my premium Kubey Momentum and Interflow both on sale during the holidays at WMK for $126!
Awesome prices considering the normal price is great already.
@dailygearguide I didn't realize they were on sale till I went to check out. Thought I was seeing shit for a minute🤣

That’s such a great model. Hopefully they get more inside.
I want a premium Militaw, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to front flip it because I have smaller hands.
@@Twiceborn_by_grace go for the mini premium Militaw. You shouldn’t have any issues.

Thing is the 85 to 150 knives are so good that premium for me is really hard to define

Got my CPM 20CV full carbon fibre Kansept Model 6 for £105 ($118) and my qsp x kaviso dark matter Glow and Titanium Elmax Penguin for about the same
@@marccooper7376 those are a couple really sweet models. 👍
@dailygearguide being in the UK options are limited but thanks to WMK I've managed to get some bangers lol

Agreed, Kubey 14c28n is awesome but I don't know that I have seen M390 playdoh yet lol
Two sun
Good suggestion though you have to watch their consistency too. 👍
