      Not to mention when I play solo survivor, the people that ruin my games are usually not kllers. It's usually the survivors taking themselves out on hook, probably complaining about "slugging" or tunneling because they unhooked unsafely or are hovering around his face while he would normally pick up but can't becauae they're under a pallet with 3 other survivors with flashlights hovering in his face. Like, or course they're going to "slug", no one is doing gens and just handing over free pressure by being in my vicinity while I'm down.
      Survivors getting picked up off gens or throwing themselves at the kller, and tbagging them in a deadzone before they quit. I swear, I can't tell you how many times I, as a survivor, have been griefed by random team mates...I don't care if I get tunneled. I hog chase, get as much practice as I get and move on quickly to the next game. I'm not going to be them because the kller is playing to win.

      tbf the core mechanics of dbd are so broken that players are forced to do these unfun strategies. We dont have to beat around the bush, being slugged, tunneled, or camped EVEN IF the killer has to, is still frustrating. Its frustrating because you barely have any autonomy to counter absolutely everything, you can get close tho. I understand some people don’t mind them, but theres a reason so many people hate having this happen to them. Its boring, frustrating, and demoralizing. Same for killers, all the 2nd chance perks and being gen rushed. But sometimes, both sides have to do what they have to do
      Regardless, it doesn’t excuse being a toxic baby about it. Dbd has legitimately, one of the most toxic and entitled communities I’ve ever seen. People say shit about COD, LoL, cs:go, overwatch, etc. But nah, its dbd. And it’s because the core mechanics of the game are incredibly frustrating and unfun sometimes. Also, the split playerbase between killers and survivors makes people “choose” sides. Both things fostering a horrible environment for a community
      I think they’re heading in the right direction tho, I hope all the backlash crybaby players are having don’t deter them

      My SWF and I just introduced a new person who seemed cool at the start. He started throwing matches and getting angry, and we’d tell him. “It’s alright man, we weren’t meant to win every game. You did ‘insert good thing’ perfectly, we’ll get you a win.” And he’d go off on us about sweaty tryhard killers, Bs perks etc and then would ignore us when we said not to unhook us.
      Man tested my patients when he went to unhook me after I said 10 times to stop and go away because the killer was circling me. He snapped and went, “So are you just going to die on every fucking hook in every match? Because I’ll stop getting you.”
      I’m normally not so angry, I’m aware it’s a game and I and my friends can make dying fun/ funny. But I lost it.
      I told him, “If your incompetency to follow directions is going to kill me then yeah. I’d rather die on hook.” And told him to not bother playing with us until he fixed his attitude. That’s been a few days ago. We all had a talk and he came back tonight with an attitude. He’s not welcome back, I don’t want to associate with someone who goes out of their way to be a twat to people in a game

    Just happened to see this video in my recommended, instantly subscribed, great video!
    I guessed she'd be "done with this game" after 30 seconds, she exceeded my expectations, but not by much. It's honestly bizarre how seriously some people treat games. Games as a whole are meant to be a form of entertainment - if you're not enjoying what you're playing, then stop. If you're watching a movie/hear a song and you don't like it, you'd turn it off or switch to something else. I don't understand why people treat games any differently.

    Major kudos to the friend for attempting to give the streamer some rational thinking, I hope that streamer one day sees that is the behavior of a true friend!
    I often jump around streams in the DBD category to just find new people to watch. There have been so many times I come across SWF parties where one member is just getting upset and saying unfair things toward the killer/about the game, meanwhile the rest of the party does nothing to try to calm and reason with their friend. It makes me as a viewer (and as someone who plays both killer and survivor equally) uncomfortable so I usually just leave the stream. I am sure plenty of other viewers do the same because of this. I agree so many people project their unhappiness/anger/etc. into this game and don't realize that they have stopped having fun and should find another game to play!

    To those who dont understand the diffrence
    Slugging is when the killer intentionally goes out of their way to down every survivor in the game and doesnt hook anyone until every one is in the dying state and from my experience they tend to run anti boon and deestalker also knock out.
    Mean while preasuring is when the killer down one survivor and if the know anither survivor is nearby they will most likey go for the other one thats nerby if they can so they can either prevent a pallet/flashlight save or to just make it hard for the other team to win

    Years ago I was in a The Game match against Clown with my friend. The other two survs were together(learned later 'cause one was a TTV). Early into the match, Clown downed the TTV's friend, so I unhooked while he was carrying them to a hook somewhere in mid. After unhook, I knew we had to bail 'cause Sloppy would prevent healing her in time. She had about 20 seconds to run clear to literally anywhere else. After I lose sight of her, 30 seconds later she gets dropped near where I unhooked her, 'cause she attempted hiding there. She immediately DC'd, abandoning her friend. My, my friend and that streamer's friend continued playing the game as normal and I think we all got out or 2 of us at least did. At end game chat, we were shocked to see the TTV still there. She waited to apologize to us with "Sorry, I don't give points to stream sniping killers." We checked the stream and were just bewildered, 'cause she really attempted hiding near her unhook spot when she had ample time to clear the area. As if stream sniping was what resulted in finding her there.

    • @Yandehime
      @Yandehime 2 года назад +8

      One more story, my friend I mentioned had a different DbD friend she played with. They met on the game and everything seemed normal. Then they continued playing together days later. This new friend was peak entitlement, complaining about add-ons, perks, certain killers, you name it. She would blast the killer with a flurry of insults or taunt them or both(depending on the match results). This was before crossplay. So she wasn't shouting to an empty void, there was always someone on the receiving end of her slurs. One particular match she was a stealthy gen jockey and was close to making it out of the gate, but Tombstone Myers suddenly stopped her. She was livid and went on a rant against him. My friend blocked her afterwards but did screenshot some of the end chat for the memories.

The only time I’ve felt that slugging was “toxic” was when we were 4k slugged by a Myers and he didn’t hook anybody and just left us to bleed out for 4 whole minutes while he ran around and hit stuff. Dunno if that’s even really “toxic” but I do think it’s boring AF and a bit of a dick move. Afterwards I asked “why” cause I was genuinely curious, and he said he was streaming and proving to his chat how easy it was to 4k slug with Myers. I get that one of us could have koby’d, but also someone could have easily had unbreakable, so I’m not sure there’s ever a use case for slugging a 4 man group and just letting them bleed?

    @Aaron Duke, I was told that the streamer denied everything in your video on their stream, claiming you're only doing this for views. Then, they quickly deleted all of their past vods and clips soon after your video came out. I can only assume it's because she's trying to hide all of her past behavior for any further call outs.

    • @AaronDukeYT
      @AaronDukeYT  2 года назад +7

    • @NadineNightmare

      @@AaronDukeYT Thats why she had to delete her past vod. She cant spin the story if she has proof of her rage quitting, which is rage quitting isnt dcing, killing on hook or purposely getting kill. I wish I could say she would change, but since my past with her and her recent ex friends coming to me before this video saying she was done with her toxic behavior. I really dont think she will. I find it incredibly interesting two things I noticed between the toxic one and the other streamer friend. The friend was very soft spoken, as if she was afraid of speaking up, and the awkward backtracking and silence in response to getting called on it is really telling. Clearly the toxic one isn't used to being called out for her bullshit and the friend isn't used to doing it. It seems like when she's not live, she might not be the greatest of friends to the others.

  • @majesticpigeon0848

    This girl rolls with this crew of toxic survivors, I recognized the voice instantly. I think the main issue with these kinds of survivors is that they never actually learn how to get better after a loss and just blame everything on the killer or their friends. I stream killer myself and I believe that when you put TTV in your name you should be prepared for sniping (most people don’t). BTW this streamer has a history of being really anti-gay and has a history of calling good killers fruity if she doesn’t like them. Not every game is ideal for survivors, but that’s what makes DBD fun, if you were to ask survivor mains what their favorite part of playing survivor is they wouldn’t say doing gens, they’d say looping the killer or outplaying the killer. Anyways that’s my rant over here’s the link to the other vid.

But I genuinely do have fun with it, I wish people would just relax and realize that a lot of people just play games to destress themselves and just kinda tune out after a hard or long day. Survivors are more entitled than ever, demanding wins be handed out and if they don't the killer is a sweaty try hard, in a FOUR VS ONE GAME. Where in survivors have sixteen perks to the killers one, and do nothing but tbag and BM at the gate. It's no wonder killers don't want to play. The game is supposed to be HORROR, scary, fear, hunting ect. When is the last time a survivor player actually felt *afraid*?
