I visit Israel every 2-3 years. My last few trips, I did not spend much time in Tel Aviv. I will on my next trip. I would like to visit the Carmel Market. I assume, as with Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda Market, the best time is late Friday morning or early Friday afternoon when people are getting their last minute Shabbos shopping done. I also would like to take the Bauhaus tour. Do you have a video on that?
Seems like if you have all those cakes sitting outside open, they should be covered in flies, no? And regarding the powdered red peppers, I hope there is no strong breeze.
Rather than take a package tour, which will try to rush you through as many sites as possible, hire a private tour guide. You should be able to find a few with a web search. It will be a bit more expensive than the package tour, so you may want to come with several friends and/or family. The great thing about a private guide is you can move at your own speed. Just make sure the guide is licensed. Search on Google maps for sites you want to visit, and let your guide know what you want to see. He/she can recommend other sites. When making hotel reservations, you may be offered the bed and breakfast rate or the room and board rate. The difference is room and board includes dinner. I recommend bed and breakfast, because there are just too many good restaurants in Israel to take all your meals at the hotel.

No, I do not.. Mahane Yehuda is by far more iconic... I have spent a lot of time there..

Prices are actually cheaper than in supermarkets, from what I remember..
