      Thank you for your appreciation. Please do start making your bead crochet rope, you will love it. And also follow my other tutorial for using starter rope for making your future bead crochet ropes.
      Cotton thread is best. When you are practicing, choose a cotton thread which sits comfortably in your bead hole.
      Later you can graduate to smaller beads and thinner thread.

    Thank you so much for helping me. I' m extremely Grateful. So would you say that , crochet tube and rope is the same as tubular bead crochet? And it goes in a spiral, is this correct?

    • @CRAFTABLE_JBS
      @CRAFTABLE_JBS  10 дней назад +1

      Crochet tube or crochet rope is without beads, used for bag handles, and also used as chain to hang pendents etc.
      its made usually with single crochet stitches in a spiral.
      Whereas tubular bead crochet is making tubes of crochet with beads in a spiral.

    Hello,
    thank you so much for your tutorial!
    I’m just beginning with big (1cm) round beats, but it looks not appropriate for beginners…
    Do you have any advice? Yours looks more “squarely”… do you think it’s a better?
    It’s so difficult to have always the same tension on round beads…😳
    Maybe I should try with wooden beads, they should be less slippery?
    Thanks a lot again for your help!
    Stay safe 🙏🏼🫶🏼

      Thank you for stopping by and showing your appreciation.
      1 cm round beads will work for a beginner provided you are using cotton thread which fits snugly in the hole of your bead. If not, the beads tend to slide easily on the thread thus making it difficult to handle and keep the right tension.
      If i suggest a bead size number it would be seed bead size 6 which will work. Again make sure the cotton thread you use is thick enough for the bead hole. Often in my experience of teaching this, I’ve come across students who overlook this while beginning to learn.
      The beads I’ve used is some random uneven beads and it had I used a thinner thread I would also have problems with tension and slipping.

    Hello and Good Morning, Hope this request finds you and your family well? I' m still having trouble trying to do my friends necklace but I don't want to give up...I think I finally got the technique down, I just have to get coordinated with my hands. Lol. Anyway, my friend recently gave me some plastic tubing and she says it goes inside the hole of the necklace. I' m totally confused and was hoping I could PLEASE bother you again for some Help?
    1. is there a difference between tubular and bead crocheting? I saw a video where they are crocheting the beads just together by themselves and I saw some that are crocheting around a tube of some kind; straw, cotton material that is round or the plastic tubing that I have.
    2. Can I continue and feed the tubing into the hole of the necklace later?
    3. Do you have any videos explaining or showing the difference?
    I've tried to google what is the difference but can't find any information.

      Good morning and thank you for reaching out to me. I’m glad you are progressing well to bead crochet in the round or tubular bead crochet. Like I said earlier it takes some practice before being able to make a rope.
      Beads are used in crochet in two ways. Tubular or flat. When we use beads to crochet items like lace, trims, scarves or any item of clothing, mats and stuff like that, it’s crocheting with beads.
      Likewise when we crochet something tubular, it’s then called tubular crochet.
      Some cording, tube and even embroidery floss are used to pass through the tube to give it more structure and maintain its shape. Usually this is added after completion of the crochet tube or rope.
      As the circumference of the bead rope increases the hollow of the tube gets bigger, thereby needing some extra cuts support to hold the tubular shape. It’s then some reinforcement is introduced in the form of tube, embroidery floss, etc.

      I have rarely seen anyone bead crochet in the round, using a tube as you make the rope.
      It’s always added in the last before finishing.
      If you want to add reinforcement for your existing , you will first have to make sure there is enough room to run the tubing or anything through the bead crochet rope.

      I don’t have any videos explaining this. Which now gives me an idea for creating content. Thank you.
      I’ll get working on the tutorial.
      If the circumference is 6 to eight beads ( size 11 ) then you may not need any extra tubing to hold the rope.

      @@CRAFTABLE_JBS Yes the project is 8 beads around in circumference and im pretty sure im using 11/0 seed beads just not sure what size the thread is that my friend gave me to use.

    What type of thread can we use?

    • @CRAFTABLE_JBS
      @CRAFTABLE_JBS  8 дней назад

      You should cotton thread size 10 and seed bead size 8 or 6 if you are a beginner. I would also suggest use any thread that fits the hole of the beads you choose to crochet.
      Later you can switch to thinner threads and smaller beads.

      Can we use the ordinary thread that we use for sewing?

    • @CRAFTABLE_JBS
      @CRAFTABLE_JBS  7 дней назад

      No. That’s not a strong thread for this. If you are in India you can use Anchor mercerised crochet cotton thread no 20.

    • @CRAFTABLE_JBS

      Sewing thread is not strong for this.
