You shared some interesting info. Even taught me a few things and I have been there many times. That old house was being used as a museum before the hurricane. Much of the beach to the left (looking towards the water) IS a burial site- still is. I learned that, when doing a tour of that small museum. Cin. is one of my favorite. Ken C. writes many songs about STJ. Sad to see the erosion. I am due for a trip back. After the hurricane it was a little sad- much damage and the locals suffering. Also, slightly more crime- thefts due to the situation. I've never seen the water so rough on this beach.

Wow. Thank you for the comments!! Yea Kenny Chesney does write songs about this island. We got to see his house way up on the ridge.
