Reminds me more of a mix between Cynic and Dream Theater, but yeah it's a great track. I'm just not a fan of playing dry cymbals myself. But good stuff 👍
Found out about this guy through Matt Garstka and honestly he is one of the best drummers I have ever seen. This guy has the potential to be one of the GOATs.

Damm you really see Matt’s style in his playing. I would swear it’s Matt if I had my eyes closed. This guy is excellent!

Ye he does sound like matt, he has a great feel too, I don't think he's as busy as matt but he does have his own chops and is very versatile

Meinl just has the industry in its hands. I love the sounds they create. I haven’t liked any other cymbal manufacturers since I started buying Meinl Cymbals. I absolutely love their dry line. Incredible. Just a fantastic product.
Same here bro. I use the extra drys for practice and smaller gigs to keep volume down and use byzance traditional and brilliants for bigger shows and when I need volume to fill the music. So many awesome options with Meinl. Then their byzance duals and byzance sand vintage line are great in betweens between extra dry and brilliant/traditionals.
This is insane. It actually sounds programmed, even though its not. This guy is actually just THAT good

I know what you mean in the sense of quality of sound and tightness, However I would consider Lang way more of a feel drummer. He is just that good.
Oh please, he only sounds good because he uses expensive sticks.

Never heard of this guy until this morning. He just popped up on my main page at opening. Glad I clicked and watched. He has a calculating, yet controlled feel to his playing. This guy is really tight. Five thumbs up!

I’ve been listening to the Resonance Project and following Lang on the socials for quite some time now, and as a guitarist I’ve never been so obsessed by the playing of a drummer. Lang’s style is very melodic and musical, it’s not just about odd time and crazy complex stuff. It fills the space.

I did a show with a hard rock band opening for Steel Panther at House of Blues in Hollywood with Lang on drums many years ago :) Great kid, great drummer. Glad to see him getting more recognition.
My dude with the killer monster kit! If more drummers had monster kits imagine how much more you can do! Instead of hearing the same 2 crashes you got 4 same with toms splashes stacks bells rides ECT. I call it the wall of sound! The more drums the better the sound!

Wonderful composition, it rang a bunch of bells for me and it bothered me for a bit that I couldn't peg down what this reminded me of, then I remembered a Mahavishnu Orchestra concert I attended many moons ago when they were doing their Birds of Fire tour and it clicked. Don't ever stop man!
