  • The Onkyo Integra TA-2700 is a stereo cassette deck that was produced in the 1980s. It is a type of audio equipment that was used to play, record, and dub audio cassette tapes. The TA-2700 likely has a number of features and controls for adjusting the audio and a headphone jack for listening to the audio. The TA-2700 was likely well-regarded for its performance and build quality, and it remains a popular choice among collectors and enthusiasts of vintage audio equipment.

Good afternoon. What size bead did you use for the repair?

Greetings I have an Onkyo brand two-cassette deck I have a C50 and unfortunately I don't have the amplifier part to start the deck. Is there a way to power the deck separately?

you must cnnect it with a nice ampliifer in order to listen the audio. It is possible with most of the models to connect them sepratly with AC power outlet but some are only through the ampliifer.

The TA-2750 is constructed a bit different. The motor plate is hold by two screws from the back and by two screws from the front. The front screws are easily accessible by opening the cassette deck and removing the black metal cover which usually hides the mechanics behind the cassette. The two front screws are not (clearly) mentioned in the service manual.

Nice thanks for sharing insight for the TA-2750 I never had a chance to put my hands on it yet. Seems another excellent Cassette Deck by Onkyo. Many thanks for supporting the channel. Cheers

2570 (2800) has the same Mechanism and belts. After the belt replacement you must check the play speed. Usually the speed is a little bit slower with the new belt and it must be re-tuned.

@@spacetimeengineering Thank you for the reaction. Twice I changed the belts in my two 2570 decks and twice the speed became slower with new belts, the main engine in these Onkyos is rather weak. I also changed this engine in my second 2570, bought more qualitive and stabilized engine.
