@emiblindside It would be interesting to hear in which condition his voice finished the concert after this. Makes absolutely no sense and Tolkki does it with Matos again, same mistake. Always at (or even avoe) the upper end of his range on record. That's why they sound so strained live.
@ShiningLion I agree with that. Hes natural voice is baritone. Maybe some time in the past he was tenor. but things always change. He reaches tenor tones but struglin

I guess it all depends on how tired Kotipelto is, or how much he's taken his throat to the limits during a concert. Here, he sounds incredibly good.
Difficult... too difficult live. Just falset in the highest part. Can't do anything about it... a baritone like Kotipelto just isn't meant to sing a song like this. But on the record... just unbelievable. ^_^ I'd wanna hear it live... well... not. It couldn't work. :D
Tenor???? Are you joking? Tenor is a very deep operatic voice. I don't think that's Kotipelto's case... Anyway, this is really horrid. I don't know why he tries to sing the songs, that are absolutely beyond his abilities. This is just affected screaming with awkward intonation....

His voice gets so high in this song if not the highest out all their songs. One of my favorite songs from them.

I definitely think TK is a baritone, or tenor-baritone. He isn't by any means a pure tenor.
