At Naggar, you can stay at Naggar Castle itself with rooms starting at approximately Rs. 1,500 (Check the HPTDC website). It has been the location for multiple film shoots and you can have fun trying to match the locations in the castle with the films from memory. After the castle you can visit the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery followed by Tripura Sundari Temple, Vishnu Temple and Gauri Shankar Temple, all within a 1 - 2 km radius. However, there will be uphill climbs at some places!
Do make it a point to visit Jana Waterfalls as well, which are at a distance of 15 km from Naggar. You can hire an auto / taxi from Naggar. Auto will be relatively cheaper, Have shared the contact details of Hiralal, the auto driver who took me there. He also shared some of the trivia I have mentioned in the video.
