I have a guitar I built with just a single humbucker in the bridge, and it had just a 1meg pot for volume. It was basically just on or off when turning the knob. Eventually I dumped the volume knob and replaced it with just a on/off switch. Surprised to see a guitar with no controls at all. I get that you can off it with the tuner pedal, but I'd rather have something on the guitar too. I respect the idea, but the $2500+ price tag is out there for me.
I can appreciate this. Too many trems on MM guitars and on my custom guitars I just have a volume knob but no tone and a single bridge pickup. Lately I just use a volume pedal so full knobless might be the way to go.

Interesting approach to the guitar - but ultimately not really different from the Robben Ford rig rundown where he said that he does the entire show on the front pickup turned up full with all the changes in tone coming from whether he plays up and down the string from the neck to the bridge. It’s that, only without losing whatever treble and signal you lose from the cap and pot.

No volume knob, LOL. My perfect guitar would have a single humbucker and no pickup selector (obviously), no tone knob, and a volume knob that's _well_ out of my way.

There are a few players who prefer it that way, although usually it's not because of the ergonomics of the guitar, but rather because of the sound.
This guitar is $2600? I love MM and Stephen, but that's an absurd price for a feature-less guitar.
Once you pay more than a grand for a guitar, you are paying more for the time of the people who put the instrument together than for the parts and materials.
Descendents support government death mandates and corporate sponsorships, they are the biggest scumbag hypocrites that exist, conformity is punk rock to those corporate sellouts.

@@dehumanize93 yes but they were pre-getting punched for being a nerd and having to tape their glasses back together. I hear you but it’s more in the punk pop distorted guitars similarities. They both probably stole it from Buddy and Elvis. 🤓
