    well, you play many instruments...
    Rachel's English can sing pretty well, since she was an opera singer.
    I think both of you should make a special video where you play and she sings!

    Another masterpiece came from you, Jennifer. Allow me to take advantage from your generosity and learn some thing different this time. I' would like to ask you about the program that you use to write the words that appear on screen and give them the motion, colour change. I really need this program to work in along with Adobe Premiere. thank you for all.

    Hello miss Jennifer. Do you have a video about pitch and tempo? BTW you are a good teacher. Thank you!

    • @Englishwithjennifer
      @Englishwithjennifer  6 лет назад

      Hi. I don't address focus entirely on pitch or tempo in a lesson, but they're modeled. The complete playlist for intonation is here. englishwithjennifer.com/students/yt-videos/ You may also like my Oral Reading Fluency texts. There are shorter, easier ones in the beginning and longer, more complex ones as the series goes on.

      Obrigada. I'd love to take Portuguese lessons one day, but I fear I don't have the time at the present! :(

      I understand, if you learned a little bit each day, after a while I'd know some sentences, see some of your American friends who learned Portuguese and today give English classes and they have thousands of Brazilians in their channels.

      It's very true that knowing other languages opens up doors to many possibilities. :) I've decided to speak in English only. The exception was when I needed to give occasional Russian translations for my beginner student in the series Learn English with Jennifer. I also addressed some of my Russian viewers here. ruclips.net/video/zgsJqqtaeRY/видео.html

      JenniferESL Hi darling teacher Jennifer, may you learn Arabic language in future?
      I'm sure that you will like it especially when you listen and read to Holly Quran even if you are not muslim
      I like you so much..

      Thank you. Arabic writing is very beautiful. The spoken language would present an interesting challenge.
      Ideally, I'd have plenty of time in my life to learn more languages!

      Yes, I have a whole playlist on intonation. I cover intonation a bit on Instagram, too. I'll try to add another practice text for Oral Reading this summer, speaking of ways to improve intonation.

    hi Jennifer! I would like to say that your lessons are AWESOME! may I ask you a question? here in this lesson you use rising intonation in WH- questions and I studied that those use a falling intonation. Who's right? thank you =)

    • @Englishwithjennifer
      @Englishwithjennifer  6 лет назад +1

      The usual pattern in American English is to use falling intonation on WH- questions. However, rising intonation can be used if you need to repeat the WH- question because you didn't hear the answer the first time or if you're surprised by the information and you want to ask for a second time. It's kind of like tag questions. They can rise or fall, depending on whether you're commenting or really asking for confirmation.

    Hello , jennifer how are you doing? I would like to asking about ,when I used want and need and for what everyone . that'll be all. Thank you jennifer with my regards .

    • @Englishwithjennifer
      @Englishwithjennifer  7 лет назад

      Hello Simon. So you're asking about the verbs WANT and NEED. Which other phrase? "What for?"
      WANT = what you wish to do or have / WANT + noun (I want food.) / WANT + infinitive (I want to rest.) / WANT (someone to do something - - I want you to be quiet.)
      NEED = what is necessary / NEED + noun (I need money.) / NEED infinitive (I need to leave early.) / NEED (someone to do something - - I need you to keep this a secret.)
      You can post questions like this on Simor.org. I'm one of several teachers in the English Room.
