Glad to see bootlegging is alive and well, despite hyperlitigious music companies. It's this kinda stuff that'll be released by them in 20 years to make a few more bucks.
Thanks Darragh! I really appreciate your comment. Times have changed actually. With some rare exceptions, the artists have come around to the whole audience video thing on RUclips. Now the artists upload their original song to RUclips's copyright matching system, and the AI scans every new upload to look for matches. If the AI detects an artist's song in any form--anything from someone singing it at a party to a major artist covering it at a show--then RUclips runs ads on the video and gives a cut to the artist. Fans who monetize their RUclips channels--which I do not--cannot make a cent on videos where this automated Content ID system found a match. The revenue is pocket change for the artists on a video by video basis, but when you aggregate all the content together, it can come out to a tidy sum.
