Actually your post reminds me of my childhood experience with the adventure people. A friend of mine received the adventure people safari set for his birthday. We had such a blast playing with the Safari set that I asked my mother to buy me a set to mix with my Star Wars figures. I remember being impressed that my Star Wars figures mixed perfectly. I wish I would have known that the X Ray adventure people existed because they're so cool looking and would have fit right into the Star Wars universe!!! I can only imagine the fun adventures that our imaginations could have created!!! Thanks for making these cool videos !!!! Rest in Peace Wesley Holbrook (you were an awesome childhood buddy with a cool imagination).

The emergency helicopter and the safari set were the two greatest gifts I ever received. I was at peak toy playing age and they opened up a world of adventure. Star Wars, Action Force and GI Joe were all hits but I was a bit older. The only toy that rivaled the Adventure People for playability was Action Man and again that's due to my age. They're the toys I was crawling around in the back garden with, living the adventures with the toys.

Love hearing you crawling around in the garden with the toys. These were the kind (and Action Man) that you brought outside in the dirt and grass and played out the most exciting adventures. The copter with its blue claw underneath was a go to for me, too.

Had a very strange amount of random figures and vehicles from this line, though I don’t remember ever seeing them in stores since I was born in ‘82. I got em all from yard sales and flea markets, but man did I have a blast with them! And of course, they integrated perfectly with my G.I. Joe and Star Wars figures!
I specifically remember having the Aeromarine submersible and the treasure chest (which doubled as the Ark of the Covenant 😂). Also had the kayak from the Daredevil set and the scuba divers’ yellow raft…both of which got a ton of play in the tub at bath time!
My favorite was probably the Alpha Probe…I just remember being super stoked by its electronic sounds.
