I have an rtx 2060 and 4k 10bit tv with both 2.0b and 2.1 hdmi ports I only see 12 bit option for 1080p While no 10 or 12 bit option for 4k 60 What can i do ?
@@NINETY-97-SEVEN for me i figured it out I was connecting my pc to my av reciever then to my tv but no 10 bit option available My tv fully supports 10-12 bit 4k And rtx 2060 too (1080p 60-120hz 10 and 12bit on rgb ,4k 60hz 10bit only on ybcr444 and 422) I had to enable a mode in my av reciever called " enhanced 4k mode" This enabled the full color bit depth to passthrough But then i started having issues like hdmi cutting off randomly which was because i was using hdmi 1.4 I ordered a 2.1 hdmi cable online I'll try it again when it arrives I am sure it will be good now As the hdmi 1.4 didn't have enough power to send the full color depth At least a 2.0a or b is recommended So first make sure to check if your monitor fully support 60hz 10 bit on 4k and 1080p If yes Then try a 2.0hdmi cable at least If you connecting to an av reciever then you will have to go check your unit manual to enable this mode
I have an external monitor, buty my notebook has much better resolution and it doesn't show up in the nvidia panel like the monitor that is plugged in, any help?
@@woofaki5550 I actually figured out my issue, it was due to the monitor only having DisplayPort 1.2 which has limited bandwidth and so max resolution lacked the bandwidth for 10 bit color. I had to either bump down the resolution first or just settle with 8 bit color.
Thank You so much Boss! ❤❤

The option to enable it in windows 11 is missing, it only had 8bpc
Did you find a solution?
The only problem, a real 10 bot monitor is very expensive. The availability ? 3-5 models !

any benefit for turning 10 bit on, or would it cause any other issues?
Only if you are an illustrator, designer or something like that.
Otherwise, it doesn't make much sense to activate.
