    As of 2022 this video is still up to date, you just have to click Autofill on the left side now when first accessing Google Chrome settings.

    Great video! Very informative and resolved an issue with a password that was listed under never saved. Thanks

    I was confused between the two (Google Password Manager vs saving password on (Chrome) browser). I think you have clarified. Thanks.

      You should be able to save it with the pop up after logging in with the second account.

    I'd like to manage not having to key in my windows password every time I want to view my google passwords. How do I disable this feature?

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад

      I don't believe this is possible - it's essentially one of the only lines of security between someone else and all of your passwords.

    What if the website is not in the list of "saved" passwords OR the "never save" area and I have to sign in every time I go there?

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад

      Try clearing your cache and cookies? If you still can't, the site may be blocking it somehow.

    Is there a way I can take my like 115 passwords that I have on my google chrome version on my PC and transfer them ALL to my iPhone. I only got the like 6 or whatever that was in my google account as you talked about 1:15 ish. I want everyone of them in sync. on Both devices.

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад

      I believe there is a way to export them and import them but I wouldn't be interested to look into why they're not all coming over with your synced Google accounts.

    Where should I keep my eyes while typing in a keyboard? On screen or on keyboard?

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  5 лет назад

      Hopefully you will be able to keep your eyes on the screen but may need to look at the keys when first starting out.

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад

      You can just open Google Chrome on Android and log in with your Google account to sync.

    Hello! Thanks for this video :) Every time I open Google Chrome and click on one of my links/tabs (Facebook, RUclips, Gmail, Netflix, etc) I always have to log back in. It does ask me if I want to save my password to which I click on yes. Then if I check saved passwords, it's not there. This has been happening for a couple of weeks. It happens each and every time. I don't understand why and don't know what to do. It's not a major problem but very annoying in these covid times and us being online a lot. Pain in the behind. Can you help me? Thanks!

      Are you clearing you cache every time you close your browser? It seems like something like that may be happening.

    Can you get google to suggest a new password to replace an old, less safe password?

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  5 лет назад

      Google doesn't have that feature that I know of but this may help: passwordsgenerator.net/

    • @barclay124
      @barclay124 4 года назад

      @@AnsonAlexander I've been using the google password generator for nearly a year now via google flags, plus now everytime you go to the password manager site, now you have to put in your google account password before you can view any passwords, so a very good added security feature.

    my laptop will ask to save passwords for new sites but it will not remember my Google Chrome password and I have to log in every time. I look in passwords and I have nothing in the never ask box and both slides on top are to the right and are blue..but it will not ask. I have cleared cookies and history from the browser as other sites have suggested, restarted both Chrome and the laptop, but it will not retain or ask for my Chrome password as it did in the past. One site suggested it could be a virus so I have endlessly scanned with Zone Alarm Extreme Security and Malwarebytes (paid) and still nothing. Other than reinstalling Chrome, what is your suggestion?

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад

      You shouldn't need a password to use Google Chrome but you can log in with a Google account to sync your web browsing with other devices. Is this the password you're referring to?

    Google is very poor to put it politely, it asks to save passwords for certain sites,then later when your visiting same site,guess what....there's no key symbol to help with the presaved passwords,when you manually go into saved passwords it provides you with passwords that are useless, bring back the abacus, all this technology is fabulous (when it decides to actually work) nowt but stress and headaches when it doesn't (which is regular) mobile android platform also on tablet android I'm using.

    • @AnsonAlexander
      @AnsonAlexander  2 года назад +1

      Sometimes we just have to take a breath and be thankful we're able to use all of this technology and understand that it can't be perfect all of the time. I'm sure abacus's broke at times as well...
