Its a very good thing you rescheduled your embryo transfer girl. I got pregnant with my 5th baby end of october of 2023. End of november we all got very sick with covid and it was very hard on my body. Well long story short at 19 weeks i lost the baby due to cord issues and low amniotic fluid. The doctors kept asking if i had been sick at all and i said yes at around 1 month pregnant i had covid. They both said the first 8 weeks is the most crucial for development and thats probably why i lost the baby. Its soooo good that you are waiting. You did the right thing!❤

Covid has changed many lives, my hubby and l got it and it effected my hearing, l know many people who now suffer every day of their lives because of Covid. You guys all of you are going to be fine but definitely take care with rest, eating properly, staying at home..YOU WILL RECOVER! MINDY, I truly feel so sorry for You, all of your faithfulness in doing exactly everything right and then have to start again but, as you say often, "IN GOD'S TIMING" This little embryo has come a long way and l feel as if so many things have happened along the way, it is especially important that the timing is exactly right. I so respect that your Dr basically told you NO but if you insisted, he had to move forward. You and Larry, as always talked it over and made the Right DECISION! Larry is so lucky to be okay- my mom was 65 and “had bad allergies” as she described it on this past Easter. Then she died of Covid April 24. She suddenly fell weak and ended up in the ICU and ultimately on life support. It happened so random and so fast. It’s wild 😢
@@jenniferw1595 it’s not easy! My biggest fear was watching her suffocate when they removed her from the vent but when I say that her last breaths were peaceful- they truly were. It was a blessing for them to be. Praying for your family!!!

This happened to me too, I caught covid one week before my egg retrieval. Had to cancel that cycle, and re-order all the meds I had used, essentially losing thousands of dollars in medications. Eventually did my egg retrieval the next cycle and it was successful, so there's hope! You made the right choice in waiting for your body to be healthy and ready for your little Nemo 2.0, you got this!

Omg so when I was finally diagnosed with COVID a few years ago it was because of that dizziness. Prior to that I had what my docs thought was food poisoning. Had been vomiting for about a day or so. Woke up and felt great and went about my business. Walked outside and was just outside my front door and felt so dizzy with blurry vision and slowed speech and was leaning against the door inside. Called out to my husband who had started feeling sick some the night before. Thank God he was just around the corner because once I called out I was starting to slide down the door I guess pretty fast but my husband caught me before I hit the ground to which he guided me down. I started sweating and all I could think of was a stroke or something (I'm a practitioner) but I managed to crawl to my chair. Was fine by the time I got there but since I hadn't eaten anything really for a day or two and having hypoglycemia I thought well maybe it was my blood sugar. Anyway longer story short we both had had covid. By all accounts that dizziness and the weirdness of the speech thing can happen during covid. Yuck!

Oh man that's such a bummer--it's like one of my biggest fears getting sick right before or right after transfer. You're going to be a couple weeks ahead of me I think on your new timeline. My FET number 6 for baby number 2 is early/mid August! Don't beat yourself up about going to have a day of fun honestly --so many things I put off due to fear of getting sick and messing with fertility stuff--but I've been at this now for 2 years and I don't want to miss out on making memories with my daughter, so I'm trying to just enjoy things with her and hope for the best.

I think that everything does happen for a reason even when we do not understand it in those moments. Stay strong. I’m glad they took precautions and did not just push through the process. That’s smart. ❤ my toddler and newborn both had RSV and I had COVID pregnant when I was about 23 weeks. I know it can affect pregnancy differently early on so it is awesome you waited although it’s so hard. So stressful but it builds their immune system. Both of my kids are strong as ox’s and now your body is carrying these antibodies to fight it. Liam is also carrying antibodies now which is actually awesome. I’m not a doctor but have a family friend who helped me through this who is a pediatrician.
Hi Mindy, first let me just say that I’m praying for a speedy recovery for you, Larry and Liam. So funny cause you and I were both pregnant at the same time and both of our sweet boys were born 5 days apart in August 2022. I was extremely excited when I found out that you were going to do this next embryo transfer soon because I recently found out on June 3rd that I was expecting again and how cool/crazy would that be for us to go through this together again! Even tho your transfer is delayed a bit I know that God is going to see it through in July and yet again you and I both will be busting at the seams by New Years 2025 and ready to deliver two new bundles 🤰
My son had Covid and RSV at the same time and I was so scared. He got through it but I was a worried mess until he got better. I’m so sorry you have to postpone your transfer. Hope you all feel better soon ❤

What post Covid is, after I got Covid and was nearly at the end of it I got this swallowing issues that lasted for over a few weeks with the help of a few Doctors and specialists I was able to overcome everything although throughout all of this I lost 15 pounds. This is what my Doctor said is what he described as post Covid to me. Thankfully it all worked itself out in the end and I’m doing 100% better these days. I hope you have a lovely weekend. 😊

I was very unwell for a fortnight and a year later been diagnosed with Long Covid. Gee, I WISH it was just a cold!

Omg so when I was finally diagnosed with COVID a few years ago it was because of that dizziness. Prior to that I had what my docs thought was food poisoning. Had been vomiting for about a day or so. Woke up and felt great and went about my business. Walked outside and was just outside my front door and felt so dizzy with blurry vision and slowed speech and was leaning against the door inside. Called out to my husband who had started feeling sick some the night before. Thank God he was just around the corner because once I called out I was starting to slide down the door I guess pretty fast but my husband caught me before I hit the ground to which he guided me down. I started sweating and all I could think of was a stroke or something (I'm a practitioner) but I managed to crawl to my chair. Was fine by the time I got there but since I hadn't eaten anything really for a day or two and having hypoglycemia I thought well maybe it was my blood sugar. Anyway longer story short we both had had covid. By all accounts that dizziness and the weirdness of the speech thing can happen during covid. Yuck!

I am so sorry.. I hope you all feel better soon. Sending lots of hugs and prayers to you all!! I have been exposed to COVID on Sunday. Found out my friend caught it on her church retreat. I have no symptoms, I feel fine but we will see as days go by. It feels like another strain going around again. :(
This is so good to know that Covid is still out there because NO ONE seems to talk about it anymore like it POOF!!!! Disappeared.

My son had rsv as a baby, poor guy was so so miserable. Im so sorry this is impacting the transfer but also thankful it didnt happen right after the transfer. I think the universe was protecting your little embryo, his/her time will come ❤
I've been there with canceled ivf cycles and it plain old sucks but this little one will come along when it is supposed to.

Oh man that's such a bummer--it's like one of my biggest fears getting sick right before or right after transfer. You're going to be a couple weeks ahead of me I think on your new timeline. My FET number 6 for baby number 2 is early/mid August! Don't beat yourself up about going to have a day of fun honestly --so many things I put off due to fear of getting sick and messing with fertility stuff--but I've been at this now for 2 years and I don't want to miss out on making memories with my daughter, so I'm trying to just enjoy things with her and hope for the best.

I think that everything does happen for a reason even when we do not understand it in those moments. Stay strong. I’m glad they took precautions and did not just push through the process. That’s smart. ❤ my toddler and newborn both had RSV and I had COVID pregnant when I was about 23 weeks. I know it can affect pregnancy differently early on so it is awesome you waited although it’s so hard. So stressful but it builds their immune system. Both of my kids are strong as ox’s and now your body is carrying these antibodies to fight it. Liam is also carrying antibodies now which is actually awesome. I’m not a doctor but have a family friend who helped me through this who is a pediatrician.

Hi Mindy, first let me just say that I’m praying for a speedy recovery for you, Larry and Liam. So funny cause you and I were both pregnant at the same time and both of our sweet boys were born 5 days apart in August 2022. I was extremely excited when I found out that you were going to do this next embryo transfer soon because I recently found out on June 3rd that I was expecting again and how cool/crazy would that be for us to go through this together again! Even tho your transfer is delayed a bit I know that God is going to see it through in July and yet again you and I both will be busting at the seams by New Years 2025 and ready to deliver two new bundles 🤰
I'm sorry. But good thinking to wait and being patient for your body to be strong! Prayers & well wishes!

Hi Mindy, Larry & Liam! I’m so sorry to hear you are dealing with Covid. I had Covid and got post Covid afterwards. It was scary. I had a hard time swallowing, no appetite and lost 15 pounds. I got through it. I hope and pray you will all feel better soon. Take care. 🤗🩷🙏🏼

What post Covid is, after I got Covid and was nearly at the end of it I got this swallowing issues that lasted for over a few weeks with the help of a few Doctors and specialists I was able to overcome everything although throughout all of this I lost 15 pounds. This is what my Doctor said is what he described as post Covid to me. Thankfully it all worked itself out in the end and I’m doing 100% better these days. I hope you have a lovely weekend. 😊
