Nah - I've never wanted anything ratchet - even behind the scenes, but - I come from a different era/different generation. I was born in '61 and I was a little kid during the "Say it Loud, I'm black and I'm proud" phase and a teen during the '70s when we, both men and women wore our natural hair proudly and were happy and proud to be black and "ratchet" anything was hardly seen at all. definitely not the norm. now its the norm. Back then it was prostitutes that wore the fake hair and clown make up that we see black women wear on the norm now - and proudly. Its good to be young but I'm often so glad to be of my generation and raised by the parents I was raised by - as I watch this Black Community from the outside. I married a Southeast Asian woman back in the '90s before all this Passport Bros stuff. Still married and produced 2 beautiful Blasian daughters that have been raised to understand what crap trap rap music and the "artists" are really about and who/what is behind it all. I took the time to listen to Sexyy Red music. I almost have to laugh listening to it. Women talking about the usual stuff on songs, I get it no problem... however Red is extreme.
