his hands are so lovely and quiet. i noticed they are slightly turned in, NOT like he is carrying a cup of tea, which makes me feel better about my hands!
I had no idea the horse was so big. He is coming along nicely. Great job training him. I too have a horse that is very sensitive on the leg...i understand those challenges. Very hard with a horse that is so large.
His piaff/passage are really deficient and I think Carl is aware of this. One comment bothered me, he talked about being better on one rein. At this level he should be dead straight
Congratulations Carl.......A great ambassador for horse care at elite level; and very down to earth Carl is :)
"He was so ugly as a baby..." :D
Love him! Inspiring and the most beautiful rides in Aachen...
what a lovely , fair, sympathic trainer and rider

Damn that interviewer is so hot

I assume your piaffe and passage are better than Carl's then? Horses and riders at every level have their weaknesses, they're not robots
Were this horse becomes a winner is in his level of submission.
Free gaits are ok but the collected gaits lack strength behind
