Bass singer Danny Rogers is now singing with the Bar D Wranglers in Durango, CO. We just saw him (and them) last week. His voice might be better now than it was in this video from 2009.
LOVE this song! My family went to see the Bar J Wranglers about 8 years ago, and I still enjoy them immensely! Hearing this brings back such special memories!
I luv these guys... I have to have my yearly fix of them.... but the problem is I yearn to visit them up at their ranch about five or six times a year... The beautiful Teton's call at the same time... I just need to move up there with them..
Boy did I screw that one up. It was Presnell...... Hey I only allow myself one mistake every seven years. Trouble is, now I can't make another mistake till the year 3175
I'm so sad they are retired. I never get old of listening to their music.
That Bass voice is towering!
These guys are amazing. The guy with bass voice is a pure joy to listen to.
He's my little brother Dan Rogers. Thanks.

Wonderful singers
One of the best renditions of this song I've ever heard.
The best show in Jackson Hole.
Anywhere, not just the Hole. These men are terrific performers.
wow great live performance. Never heard this song except in my 1968 folk guitar class and youtube, they should play this more so kids know it.
Dan Rogers... went to school with him... he has an amazing voice!
So Phil, you're from Chug? What years were you there?

Always loved this song since my mother dragged us to see 'Paint Your Wagon'. This version is pretty spectacular. The harmonies are right on.
Been listening to these guys for more than 20 years, can't help but love em.
Danny is amazing as is the rest of the group
Thanks. I have to agree. It does go to his head, though.
Best memory went here with my brothers and parents in the 80s . Glad it’s still around .

Excellent and I agree only Frankie Lane in his prime could have given the song this quality.

This guy could compete with Howard Keel who sang this song in the movie Paint Your Wagon.
Yes my brother could. We think he's pretty cool. Danny Rogers. My brother.

Anyone know which chord progression they’re using? I’ve seen several online and I don’t like them as much as I enjoy the one Bar J uses.
@eddvoss Wrong! It was Harve Presnell......... sorry!
