This one isn't officially open yet. For a top spot with decent jumps in Nashville area, I think Cedar Hill in Madison is the best choice. A smaller park with several jump line options is Wilkins Branch in Franklin TN.
Apologies Bobo, I mistakenly thought you were commenting on another video. Percy is definitely OPEN and a pretty good trail system...that said, my recommendations for Cedar and Wilkins stand at my top pics, especially Cedar Hill. But yeah, I can definitely give you the tour.
@@v1p3ex88 They start at the parking lot by the golf course, or the entrance by deep wells. There is the boulevard trail that connects the two lots. You will see some trails off the boulevard.
Nashville has is lucky to have the Edwin/Percy Warner Parks area. A hidden gem with outdoor activities for joggers, hikers, equestrians, roadies, and mtb.
I been out here a few times really like it, lots of fun jumps especially on top of the hill with the 3 paths. I usually go out lock 4 trails in Gallatin, much closer. Trying to get out to Percy Warner more. Love it out there.
Awesome videos Dave. I'm an old BMXer looking to get back on 2 wheels here in the Mid Tenn area. Looks like Lock 4 will be my home trail. These videos are getting me hyped to get a MTN bike!
@@PedalingDave we got a lot of rocks but steep an at the ski resorts they do trail maintenance but I'm a cheap ass an I like pedaling up hills dont need to take the chair lift or pay for that. Ol school
I can understand that. I used to feel that way but now? If there is a lift or shuttle, count me in!! It's rare for me to get to shuttle so I still have to earn my turns, lol.
@@PedalingDave I'm planning on bribing a bicycle shop worker to give me ride this Saturday to do a incline village ride in Tahoe called the tyrolean its supposed to be bad ass downhill I be making a video of course 😀their shuttle service told me they wont take single rider to this location but... $$$an beer to one of the workers I think will work .
Alright, back again with some q and a. I went here today and to say it was horrifically packed, would be an understatement. Cedar Hill was crowded as well and the clean up crew was out there. Lock 4 is massively confusing with the lack of trail markings so I know where to go. All that said, where is a good place to ride that isn't a roadtrip to get to and isn't crowded? I bought my bike for a lot of reasons, one being I din't have to deal with crowds. Where can I go?
I dont know that there is a real answer to this one. Percy and Cedar Hill are often crowded. L4 can be confusing but riding with someone who knows it or an app like trail forks can really help out. Sucks looking at a phone during a ride but can really help get the logistics sorted. Other than that, week days are generally less busy if you have the time. I just accept I have to travel and crowds don't bother me much.
@@PedalingDave Thanks! I'll check out trail forks in the morning. I try to get to trails by 8 or before for this reason. Cedar Hill is usually a ghost town during that time. Or if it is really hot, I'll go mid-day (just more water) and all is well. I may go back to Warrior Trail since its unkept and no one goes. Maybe I could make signs for Lock 4 with the aid of an app. The trail you went to recently that was still under construction looked promising. I'm still green, but I'm not opposed to blue trails. We'll see how this goes. How is winter riding?
There are some additions coming to a local trail down there, but it will still be quite a while untill that's open. Percy Warner park has a couple lines but last I was there they weren't in the best shape. There just isn't enough elevation for long flow and jump lines like in east TN.
Pedaling Dave alright sweet! I started off riding flats and clipless really helped increase my efficiency...especially once I moved to a full suspension.
Hey Dave i might be in the area for work on july 5-9. If you want to meet up and ride this that would be awesome, let me know here. Good luck with your channel

I still may have to pause speaking just to breath, but I do want to try and make sure I complete my statements! Thanks guys for all the feedback!!
First time seriously mountain biking today, trail kicked my ass
Still happens to me too, like, a lot!
looks like a great place to ride! I might be in Nashville in a few weeks, is this the top spot in town?

Nice video! I’m gonna ride there today 🤘🏾
I live two miles from Percy Warner and ride there almost every day
That's pretty cool man and I envy you. A trail with so many ride options like that close by would be nice.
Same, but I live about 15 miles away

Very much appreciate the complement! Love both...maybe a little biased toward Hope myself, but only a by a little.

Winter is a gamble. When frozen all is a go. Thaw? Dont bother leaving the house, lol!
Pedaling Dave Excellent to know. I appreciate you helping me out. Every question I’ve had, you’ve answered with great advice every time.
Thanks man. I try.
What time does this park open yelp says 9 AM that sounds really late we are in town and want to go there now
I dont think it has a specific opening time. I am pretty sure it is open from sunrise to sunset as long as rain/mud isn't a factor.
See your views are getting huge pedaling Dave!!! Need to do a video together since we are so close
Hopefully this wet weather will soon change, and yeah, we need to vid a ride somewhere!
Any dh flow jump trails in Nashville?
Anything similar to the Devils Racetrack, Barn Burner, Knight Fall, Radio Tower ?

I might be going through here on my way to Springfield, MO here in about a month. Are you around here to lead me through these trails?
It's possible. You'll just have to contact me closer to that time.
Do you ride Platforms or clipless pedals?
I ride clipless
Flats for me. I use clips on my road bike.
If I were racing XC or riding a hardtail, I would likely go back to clips on those, but flats on the FS.
Pedaling Dave alright sweet! I started off riding flats and clipless really helped increase my efficiency...especially once I moved to a full suspension.
Yeah, I agree that clips are probably more efficient.
I'm all about the fun factor so, for me personally, flats are a better fit.
Top ! I have Moutain bike videos on my channel too
Thanks man!
whats the best/most technical or with jumps trail near nashville
