This is an amazing song!! It shows GoldenFlowers grief for Tigerclaw as well as her feelings after he left.
goddd the “my sunlight won’t shine on another like you” line hits SO hard. Golden flower recognizing that she’s a wonderful cat who deserves so much better. Good for her.
Just like how Sink Away's visuals represented the song, character, and plot, I _love_ how when Goldenflower lets go of the "starlight" and "night" representing the good side of Tigerstar, the sky turns from night to day, and the entire song she's slowly looking more and more away from the moon until the point where she's about to walk away.
I love how you describe Goldenflower’s grief over Tigerstar’s betrayal and how he was a good cat to her once. As well as how you show how much Goldenflower does not want her son to turn out like Tigerstar! 😁

This one clearly also is about break-ups and/or abusive relationships and healing from them. That’s so neat,even though I’m fortunate to have never experienced neither. "Now I'll finally love me too." Goddamn Blix this is the lyric that broke me. Imagine how hard it would be to find out the only person you loved was an evil murderer who left you and your kids for another clan. It's so heartbreaking. The delivery of that last line pulls at my heartstrings like no other, I was already on the verge of tears but that one line got me.
To anyone struggling with self-confidence and self-love, I hope you know you're an amazing person and that even if I don't know you, I'm there for you, and so many others are as well. Stay strong, fellow Blix lovers

It’s 11PM where I live. I’m supposed to be sleeping, but here I am, listening to this absolute masterpiece. I’m 10 seconds into the song and I already know that this is amazing. Blix, you’re so talented. This really made me connect with Goldenflower. I never cared for her character, but now that I understand all that she went through, I feel so bad for her. Blix, you can turn nothing into something so easily. You’re amazing. ❤

I ADORE this kind of love song. It’s the opposite of those songs that yearns for the other, saying they are everything to you and saying how miserable you are without them.
But this song is so empowering how it tells us to eventually comes to term with the situation, move on, and remember to love yourself. Or you could say it’s the last stage of grief, acceptance.

I love the art in Goldenflower she looks amazing and the song is great aswell. I just really love her desgin.
I'm not the biggest Goldenflower fan but I even find it a shame how they cast her character away. They went from giving her no attention in the first series to throwing her out completely saying she was a elder. Not only was she still young she had a important relationship with the new arcs main character. We never got to see her character with Tigerstar, how she truely felt about Tawnypelt, or how hard it was raising kits alienated by her clan. As minor of a character as she is I'd love a little magna of her and Tigerstar's relationship kinda like Sasha got.

I really love the artwork of Goldenflower and her family. It always kinda bugged me that she just dies off page. How unceremonious for the car who had loved Tigerclaw, and bore him two kits, and defended those kits with the ferocity of a lioness.

This is amazing, it portrayes how she felt when tigerclaw betrayed the clan like that, he appeared so nice, I imagine her saying I knew another you, when he was about to leave, it is written perfectly, have a great day, and don't forget you are worthy of love!
I remember hearing some of the lyrics in the Final Rewind, getting me REAL hype for the song to actually be posted so I could listen to it because I love Goldenflower! And of course, as always, you hadn't failed to deliver! This song brings me so much comfort, due to how many of my friends have been abandoning me as of late, the fact that we have been friends for, for the most part, well over 4 years. The lullaby instumental, the voice, and lyrics, EVERYTHING. And that "Now I'll finally love me too." lyric just HITS DIFFERENT. Great job, Blix! Can't wait for your next songs!

I knew there wouldnt really be a chapter for her pov because she is more of a background character, and i kinda forgot about it honesty. I grew very, VERY fond of Sasha. This is such an adorable song! I love the softer feel that it has to it; it kind of reminds me of But He Runs, but instead Goldenflower can accept that her mate may not truly love her and moves on. That's just so beautiful and it really gives more depth to her character. ♥

I don’t know if you’ll see this considering this video is multiple weeks old, but I’d like to thank you for all the content you’ve put out over all these years.
I haven’t been in the warriors fandom for years (recently relapsing thanks to Moonkitti). I’m almost eighteen now, but I remember being ten years old. I remember being ten and eating up all warriors content like a sponge, watching ERBoW in the corner of my living room on the lowest possible setting so my mother wouldn’t realise the kitty cats were saying cuss words and reciting said Erbows with my friends for our class at lunch.
(And I remember begging you in your comments section to stop using the cuss words)
I remember taking audio recordings of your songs onto my little slide phone from like 2004 and then listening to them, sometimes my younger sister and I would pretend we were on phone calls with the cats singing.
So many years of amino notifications of childhood friends, “Blixemi uploaded!” So many years of singing these songs to myself, either smiling or crying.
I looked up to you a lot back then, and still do respect you a lot.
My old cat books are on a shelf collecting dust, the memories I have from this community; from you, still shine like gold.

Goldenflower has SUCH potential and I would’ve loved to see more from her perspective!! In losing Swiftpaw, her husband becoming a monster, him cheating, her son kind of an abusive asshole, and her daughter leaving… I’m loving the new stuff from the Erin’s but I would LOVE if they’d go back and reevaluate characters’ potential (as in Goldenflower cough)

I think its always a good choice to leave someone, romantically or platonically, when they don't see your worth (betrayal, ignoring, being toxic e.g.)
Though it can be super hard when you love them... I love how the lyrics say "Now I'll finally love me too" It means that staying in that bond where the other individual doesnt see your worth means you aren't loving yourself... You deserve more than how they treat you
"I knew another you" made me cry really hard... Sometimes you know someone who was really nice to you at the start but as time goes on, they changed and suddenly... they arent the person you knew anymore (even worse when they treat you badly)
...And it's... so hard to let go because you treasure all those past good memories...
(eventually those good memories turn sour tho due to the present)
Also, I know this is about Goldenflower n ppl who's been in the same exp as her, but I cant help but wonder if theres any hope for people(cats) like Tigerclaw?
Sometimes I just cant help but wonder if I was wrong to leave a bond like that, and whether those people who hurt me can be better somehow n be deserving of love too- (I concluded its never one's responsibility to help one to heal esp when theyre treating you badly though)

This is the perfect song for my Warrior OC, Tigershine. Basically, she meets this rogue named Scar (NO, NOT THE ONE WHO KILLED MUFASA), and she loves him, and asks her brother, Spottedstar, to let him join the clan. He agrees, and Tigershine and Scar (Now Snakefang) become mates. But then, Snakefang uses a pack of 13 giant vicious dogs to attack the clan and trap all of their kits and apprentices in an old barn. He even tries to kill Tigershine! I know no one wanted to hear about that, but I just wanted to say, amazing song, doesn't just relate to Goldenflower and Tigerclaw/star.
