It's just holding right trigger until it hits level 3 and then making sure you aren't moving your left joystick to do the lesser big bang finisher.

How were you avoiding the roars without earplugs? I saw you roll one but another one I didn't understand.
His normal roars do not affect you but the roar where he stands up and hardens his arms will push you back.
That's where I need to roll to avoid it.
