So I've recently gotten back into pants after a 30 year break. I have a few creators that I enjoy watching, and I have seen a few of your videos, but I wasn't sure. Now, after watching (binging) a number of your posts I see a few trends that have gotten me to sub. You're genuine, you're reactions are genuine, you give great advice through your experiences and you like to smile. When things don't go your way, you take a very positive approach to coping wth it. it's defo not just you!! I watched your aroid market videos after people were commenting that you also had bad experiences with them and I was SHOCKED to see how bad your plants came in! I feel lucky that they sent me these for free because it hurts less when they aren't well, but I still can't believe they sent me dead stuff knowing I was going to make a video out of it 🙃
Do you have any videos about owning plants and Cleo? If not I'd lovee to see one. I'm trying to teach my cats to coexist with plants and definitely would love some advice
I have a couple of videos on pet-safe plants as well as a video about us adopting her and what I did to prepare my collection, but nothing too recent. I'll add that to my video to do list though! thanks
the 3 headed lamp is from ikea it's called hektar. I really like it. I've got the sansi 32 bulbs in there which did require an adapter but they work just fine other than sticking out funnily
Hi Emma! I really want to import plants as well but do you have to apply for an import permit to do that? (I also live in the UK.) And to apply I will need to have a company? Seems so complicated...😥
so I had to make a PEACH account but you can do that as an individual. their system is not quite straightforward but they've got a decent customer service team that helped me through setting mine up. Defo set one of those up before you import though, as it'll make the shipping process much smoother!
Hi I'm new subscriber. Love ur content. Can u talk more about the souls the plants need. Water type. N what's the pond u mention in some videos. Is that the same as just water. What plants work best in water? How do u control any pest or flying bugs on ur plants. 🤔 my main question I'm having is food plant. I have mix water with the miracle gro plant food but do I just pour a bit to each plant or do I water it regularly with it.
hey! so I've actually got loads of videos on the things you have questions about. Have a look through my channel for my Pros & Cons of Pon (a mineral substrate) and well as my fungus gnat video and other pest ones. As for feeding your plants it really depends on the plant and what they prefer. If using miracle grow I'd use it at 1/2 strength probably every other water or every 3 depending. Defo don't pour straight from the fertiliser bottle into the plant though
It seems like the chances of them surviving shipping from this store is low. It seems like everyone has slim luck. I just understand the getting an originally looking dead plant lol
paraiso verde is such a strong plant, it roots so incredibly fast !

You might want to be careful about leaving your liquor near the grow lights. Same with nice perfumes. As it can speed up oxidation.

do you have airflow in your box? i often have the issue that things start to rot because its too wet
the box isn't air tight but I don't think it gets much air flow either

Yeah,,you really gotta check the roots on imports after there put in the substrate ur acclimating in..The roots can still go so wrong
yes! I usually try to check up on them once a week but sometimes I leave them a bit long 😅

yeah I think several people have had not great experiences. But then Clalire @thejunglehaven had a really good haul so it gave me hope 🤷🏻♀️
I have found that Majestic have really thin roots and it stresses me out.
