Its amazing how some masterpieces aren't recognized as such until years or perhaps even decades later... I've watched this film a dozen times & couldn't guess how many more times I'll watch it in this life... For those with the ability to look deeply into its layers, its a masterpiece... A visually & emotionally moving modern masterpiece rooted in antiquity...
I was impressed too brother, I didn't expect anything meaningful from the movie It's now my all time favorite, it kind of changed my life even, I don't know how to put it.
@@sayChristIsKing "And it is the space between you. Fight not for yourselves, fight for that space! Fill that space! Make it tissue!!"
One of the greatest films of all time.
Truly it is.... and the music....
Great Soundtrack, that is the main contribution of the film. It has an interesting philosophy as well, quite pacifist, which does not always align with the historical reality. In the end it is a Netflix production, that is where the film´s problems start and end. Far from being a great movie, in my opinion, like all of Netflix´ productions. I feel like movies such as Braveheart, the Patriot, or Kingdom of heaven, although being pretty inaccurate themselves, are far greater.
the sound track is so fucking beautiful and it catches the tone of the film, I may be a lil bit of a history buff and was a lil disappointed by the battle of Agincourt, but the movie in its entirety is truly a work of art. I'm impressed by the writing of Shakespeare
Like you said, one of the greatest movies of all time. Pay attention to the lessons critics. It's about stepping into your calling. It's about duty. It's about loyalty and mistrust...true loyalty. It's about not being a "yes man" and risking everything for the truth and what is right. It's about laying down your life when you have a chance to preserve it because it's the right thing to do. It's about honoring those that paid the ultimate price by leading in righteousness, forever securing their legacy....that they're sacrifice would not be in vain. It's about FAMILY.
AMAZING MOVIE. AMAZING SOUNDTRACK. ONE OF THE BEST "ALL TIME"

Why do I love this movie so much?
Because it was superb
Solid movie for those who haven't seen it. I've watched it a few times since its release.
Yeah, and the music made it so much better as well. Fits perfectly.
It lacks of historical accuracy, but it's a really excellent film. I've seen it 3 times.
I was disappointed abot Robert Pattinson in this movie. I expected more.
@@higgs5877 well thats probably because its the shakespeare verrsion, not the real one

So does Star Trek, and Frozen, and Terminator, and The Matrix, and The Joker, and Shrek, and now that I think about it, 99% of films ever made. Despite this, BILLIONS of people all over the world enjoy these films for what they are - entertainment, and they don't mention "hYStorikAl acrUuasy".
Gentlemen, it was just yesterday a little before noon when I watched it for the first time, and now it's in my top 5. Something that hasn't been done since Inception. Bravisimo!!! There are no words to describe how in awe I am. I will watch it another hundred times and then some! Phenomenal, fantastic and truly a film worthy if it's name!!!!!
The final scene was so strong and beautiful
Yes it was, amazing how the main character handled so much pain and regret....
I actually think its was the weakest part of the film. Even a King of Engl;and, Henry V who was so underestimated, could just stab a guy in the head and no questions would be expected. Either way, its a wonderful film.
Truly brilliant. It was such a simple character arc, yet beautifully delivered; the new and naive king looks for loyal and trusted subjects, becomes blindsided by men whispering in his ear, yet eventually finds the truth in his plain-speaking wife.
Or was she speaking the truth..
Watched the movie a week ago and started listening to this on repeat at gym whenever I'm stressed, and stuff like that...helps a lot, amazing soundtrack and amazing movie, loved it.
same. Love the music in this one.
Same
I cannot tell how many times I have watched the movie and listened to the soundtrack. It just elicits so much emotion from me. It is amazing master class. Will live in eternity
A true masterpiece of a cinematic art. Totally underrated, Chalamet and Pattinson did one of the best acting I have ever seen, going as high as Ellen Burstyn in Requiem for a Dream or Liam Neeson in Schindler's list. Watching this just gave a me a hope for new generation of actors who really know how to fu*king act. And the soundtrack is just so fitting, tragic and dark. Good job everyone who worked on this film.
Pattinson had such a short role but his scenes were so gripping-kinda wish he was in the movie longer.
Sir could not agree more with your observations. It is an assured pleasure to rewatch it. Brilliance of our generation artistic members.
"For all our rejoice for courage and valor, nothing stains the soul more indelibly than killing. Never have I felt more vile than standing victorious on a battlefield. The thrill of victory fades quickly. What lingers long after is always ugly." - Falstaff
Rarely does a soundtrack fit a film's storyline, theme, and mood as well as this. Combined together they produce a true masterpiece!
Soundtrack... is an exceptional event of visual matching audio. Surreal experience. Thank you.
This soundtrack helped me write my thesis...
What is your thesis?
Timothée is an excellent actor, I hope Hollywood doesn’t spoil him. I love all of his movies, and I hope one day I can see him acting in a theater.
He's spoiled already, he's fallen for one of the kardashian trash
@@wilmerrose Not interested in his private life, neither should you... Thing that derailed hollywood (among other bulls**t) is exactly that - not seeing actors as the parts they play, but their personal life, views, etc....
For me, he is a great actor, one of those young ones that will one day, hopefully, carry a torch in the same manner as De Niro, Pacino, Nicholson, etc... carried a torch of their generation. So, that being said, I don't care if he bangs a hollow tree trunk in central park on sunny sunday afternoon during a picnic, as long as he's able to give us an outstanding performances. And f**k me sideways if he isn't...
God bless England🙏🏴 Greetings from Germany🇩🇪
God bless England!! Greetings from NYC! 🗽 🇺🇲
Cheers to England! 🇺🇲🏴
England has always been and remains Russia's enemy. I do not say, God save Russia, as the English do, repeating it every time like a mantra. We Russians do not need this, because we Russians are ready for any challenges of life and humbly accept their fate. Maybe that is why Russia is unbeatable.
I wasn’t familiar with Nicholas Beitell, but I am now. This is one of the most powerful scores in recent memory. The way it comes up again in that final scene and then soars out over the closing credits is truly transcendent.
“Britell,” I of course meant!
This is my number 2 score. The music for the movie Interstellar is my number one score. Hans Zimmer.
Never moreso was the beauty of England in times begone and the gore of it's medieval past depicted than in this epic masterpiece
Awesome movie. Incredible cast and soundtrack
One of the best films ever!! Beautiful scenery and soundtrack. Loved it
I was first attracted by the movie because of Timothee, but I became fascinated with the music while watching it. Excellent piece, shamefully unnoticed.

Sounds both Heroic and Tragic. Love it.
Heroic and tragic is the story of the great leaders of this country (and any leaders), both praised through their accomplishments and also the tragic flip side of what those accomplishments are, a surmounting over something else. That something else not always being objectively bad. Victory and history is always written in the eyes of the winner. What we should reflect on is what value should the winner attribute to their victory… is it true? A question asked by the victor at the end, and what he asks of his wife. Speak true.
A damn good soundtrack to a damn good movie. I've already watched it three times and it's my favorite movie by Netflix.
Coronation Ballad in #C Minor is my absolute favorite. Wish I could get it on a loop, it's too short!
If you like this, you should discover GOT OST The Red Woman, almost similar...
@@justjejat Ramin Djwadi is a genius also
@@OliverHollingdale Agreed 100%
Coronation, Trebuchets and Antiphon are my top 3. War And Fate is also cool.
On desktop, you can right click and select "loop". Just find a video with just the c# ballad. I would put it on loop for my channel, but my channel only contains my original stuff.
This music is so great, I listened it to the end of credits. One of the best OST of all time.
Just...goosebumps...all the time...one oft the most epic scores I ever heard. From one of the greatest movies I EVER saw. Thanks a lot.❤
⚔🖤ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE! 🖤⚔
Love this OST so much!
What does OST mean? Something- soundtrack?
@@niamhie4148 OST means Original Soundtrack
@@niamhie4148 Original Soundtrack :)
The Cinematography and Soundtrack to this movie is spectacular. Top 5 Favorite film.
My two favorite scenes was the opening, such a bleek and somber depiction of war perfectly encapsulated with the looming score. And when Hal had the meeting with the king of France, the tone of the scene almost suggests its Hal's final battle, not with a sword but with his purpose.
I've listened to the soundtrack since it came out (Britell is one of my favorite composers) but this is such a good cut. Yesterday I had the Dune suite on repeat all day, think today it's this one. Thanks so much for these :)
Thank you so much for listening!
This one goes on loop... often
I love this soundtrack, it is a great film, I still cant believe the main actor is an American, he plays the English role so well. 👌
Your compilation popped up in my suggested before I watched the movie. I've been listening to this for weeks. I finally watched the movie a few days ago and hot damn, what a film it was. Timothee was nothing short of amazing and you picked the best parts of the score to highlight. Thanks for this!
One of the best medieval movies i´ve seen
Que excelente musical !
This film and the soundtrack are one of them most underrated of the last 8+ years , it really should have been bigger than it was. But still an absolute GEM ! - jealous of people who are only finding it recently.
i consider myself a decent connaisseur of war and history movies, and this easily rankes among the best ones ever
This film and the soundtrack is so close to true life with all its struggles and contemplations. Makes me at least imagine what the real King went through in his mind - true sacrifice. Well done for such a young actor indeed!
Love Nicholas Britell but knowing that he's the composer of Succession too, it's crazy how recognizable his work is. Some of these cues sound very similar
interesting fact😲 didnt knew that
As a composer, I will say recycling is a good way to get work done. I love hearing familiar things in different contexts..... I studied Bach quite a lot in college, and he was the master of recycling.
@@ross-sound-journal agreed and that’s been noticeable in any major composer, whether it be Jablonski, Britell, Williams, Zimmer, etc*.

This ending is so exciting, i just wanted more of it...
Amazing acting, amazing soundtrack and amazing storyteling 👌
Mesmerizing tracks ….. I guess the music defines who we really are by listening to them little by little.
So many comments about historical inaccuracies:
"That, is a common characteristic of the RUclips comments section"
There is no way to convince people that movies are entertainment, not education:
"That, is also a common characteristic of the RUclips comments section"
Love theys soundtracks, the movie was very touching and epic too :)
Nicholas Brittle is THE next big thing.
The movie presents a clear and uncomplicated historical narrative without any overtly dramatic events. However, the music in the movie had a captivating effect on me as it was seamlessly integrated into the historical drama. Furthermore, the acting, particularly in the final scene, was commendable.
Thank you very much its a masterpiece!!!
Nicholas Britell is a genius
I haven’t seen this. But based on the music, I think I would like it.
I dont understand that how they didnt give the oscar timothee after such a performance like that. What a speech he did before the battle
Epic Soundtrack for a epic movie.
Underrated film.
This soundtrack will forever fit the depth of my emotions towards a true expression of the spirit rising
Enamorada total de este film.. y aún más de timi.. que amor poder ver a este chico ..
Some of the best I have heard lately 🎶🎺🎻🎧🎷
This actor would be perfect for playing alexander
he created a great repertoire and in each melody he told the story in an essential way, my favorite Ballade in C# Minor Coronation.
This soundtrack is beautiful. Thank U to share it with us.
The movie we have not talked about enough yet...
Simply Brilliant!!!
MAKE IT ENGLAND!
My favorite part about this movie is for sure the music, though the movie itself was great too.
Feeling the need to conquer...
Deeply touched, it hurts to look at what is happening now in England and Europe. We lost the kingdom.
It's happening around the world. England is the reason half the world is in a mess.
Thank you!!!!!😊
