benny you are right . the swap meets are now becoming later model truck and car junk yards parts before that they were wheel and aluminum 4 barrel intake manifolds.before that they where all good older car parts
Slow down Benny and enjoy the day! We’ll watch whatever you post! There’s no need to go that fast unless you’re short on time. Thanks for sharing your videos! Make several and we’ll watch them all.
This Sat in Arlington, The southwest swap meet us just about sold out from what I've seen on Facebook. If you can make it, should be really good. You can check it out on Facebook. facebook.com/southwestswapmeet/
damn i missed that england phone booth.problem with that red 68 chevy truck you can still smell the fresh paint.if wind blows right.i liked the ford xl.
1:17 Good way to start a swap meet video with a 56or57 Chevy or Oldsmobile station wagon. 14:04 Don't see often too many Willy Jeep pickup trucks for sale nice. 19:46 Wish could buy 56 Chevy Cabover that's eye-catching. 41:35 Wonder how much 29-31 rat rod cost. 51:18 Neat 74 Malibu wagon daily driver that.
Part of the thing with the truck parts, is that's a lot of what people are fixing up, the OBS, and newer generation trucks like yours, and same era Ford's. These are still trucks that the average person can work on,and get most parts reasonably. I have 2 OBS trucks myself, and was looking for parts (since I can't always find what I need at my local wrecking yard). Apparently the part of the meet I went in, was the only area that didn't have any that weren't still on the truck. Some of the truck stuff is new truck take offs, like when a guy buys a truck and changes the wheels, bumpers, maybe the grille....Been happening for decades. Maybe more noticeable now? The building you went in the back of, most of that was the body shop supply, several cars/trucks for sale, tools and some toys and memorabilia. I was in the front section, most of the vendors there had toys and collectible cars. Some signs and a guy with automotive art prints, more tools and stuff. The show as a whole had lots of vendors, but not too many customers. I sold less in 3 days than I do at some of the Saturday morning toy shows (and that's w/o a 4 hour round trip and a motel for the weekend). I think a big part of why the swap meet was so big, is that a lotta people are needing $$$ right now, so they're trying to sell whatever they can.
Personally, the swap meet videos are like watching paint dry when they are this long, LOL. Unsubscribe special right there, that's it. LOL. I like the junkyard runs better. Isn't it too hot for the woofer to be in the car? We should be seeing more of him, as he looks like a friendly doggo. Yes, people are raising prices because the cost of fuel and the cost of items new are going up. So people have to charge more to make any kind of profit. I had NOS GM 4x4 OBS rims, "takeoffs". I did sell them. They cost me nothing, so it was all profit. The Monte Carlo is a 1977 with the tag (barely) so we can brag: ST77 for 1977 model year, 1AH57 for Monte Carlo, B for Baltimore, MD assembly, 11V for white and black vinyl interior trim, A52 for bench seat, 19U and 19L for Black upper and lower exterior paint, looks like 03C for the third week of March 1977 production. No VIN, can't win, but easy to figure out, no doubt: 1 for Chevrolet, H for Monte Carlo, 57 for two door, U for 305 V8 with two barrel, 7 for 1977 model year, B for Baltimore, MD assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Baltimore, MD plant operated from 1935 to 2005 and the Astro and Safari were the last vehicles made there. Nah, a nice set of stock wheels makes those OBS trucks better. They fit right and look nice on the right truck. The sunroof probably caused the rust on the pillars from a clogged drain over the years. LH fender looks like code 6G Gold Fire Metallic Light exterior paint and the rest 1C Black exterior paint. Yikes, please do not "LS swap" the world on that Oldsmobile, even if the original engine is missing. At about 26:46 in, that looks like a Sinclair sign (well half of it), and the Standard pump is what became Amoco (and later BP). Looks like an ATD middle box on a cheap homeowner Waterloo made Craftsman. At 33:23, that's similar to a van Mr. Magnante featured on his channel the other day. Yes, that's an English phone booth. I like those rollaway toolboxes, I need a bottom roller or two, plenty of tops. LOL. At 54:41 I would be tossing all of those aftermarket wheels for OEM wheels. They look (and fit) correctly for the car. Is that the Imperial that GMAC has/had at the yard? Looks like code Y1 Top Banana exterior paint on the Charger at around 1:00:33 in. No, that Buick is a 1955 Super Riviera with the tag for the brag: 1955 for 1955 model year, 56R for Buick Super Riviera, BK for Kansas City (Leeds), MO assembly, 453 for Light Gray pattern nylon and Light Green Cordaveen interior trim, possible code Y Mist Green lower exterior paint and code B Dover White upper exterior paint. The original engine is a 322 CID V8 with about 236 HP. The four holes on the sides were not unique to the Roadmaster in 1955. No VIN, can't win, but easy to figure out, no doubt: B for 1955 model year, 5 for Super Series, 4 for Kansas City (Leeds) MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence.
Ah come on Google man, some people enjoy the swap meet vids. I know that no one really watches all the way through but they rend to watch enough where they make me a little chunk of change. Often enough to pay for the trip and the parts I might buy. I'm already there so might as well make a video and make some 🍞 😄
@@ClassicRideSociety No issue, I watch them through the end, even when it's like watching paint dry. LOL. Yes, I get it, you have to make the revenue to keep things going and pay for the expenses of the channel. I'm not unsubscribing, you can be sure of that. LOL. I just prefer the junkyard walkarounds more.
Seems like Cowboy crushed a couple of those Raiders not too long ago. 58 Olds at 24:45-ish I don't know how people don't put some stainless cut out musical notes on those quarter panels. Too bad about the nose on that '57 Pontiac. Far from stock.
Back when the '58 Olds was new, a man named Alex Tremulis, who was a noted automotive stylist and designer ( who at the time worked for Ford) did a cartoon of one with notes on the quarter panel. Probably someone did paint one like that....
Enjoy your video wish you would have gotten the phone number on that Suzuki TC 185Ranger that was for sale great video thank you if you find out or find a Suzuki TC185 for sale I’m looking to buy
Not everyone is happy with this. He doesn't look at the vehicles and that is why somepeople watch these. (More than likely most.) And won't keep tuning to them. Signed-Richard.

That white car is a replica of the speed racer cartoon car , if you are old enough to remember that .lol.
This cracks me up I get a kick out of looking at stuff no way in hell I could buy 😂
Another good show and you did a good job of covering it!! Thank you !!! Stay safe and God bless you and yours !!!! Eddy
Dang it, I missed it. I was just in the Conroe area last weekend for the Renaissance Festival. I gotta go to the February one, I need parts.

Looks like a lot of junk!
Quite a bit actually. I mentioned a few times that there were plenty of modern day junkyard stuff there.
