I've been frantically whistling to this for weeks, thank you so much for uploading!
Thank you very much 🙏👍🏻
This is so lovely.
super!merci beaucoup!
No gal made has got a shade on Sweet Georgia Brown
Two left feet, oh so neat, has Sweet Georgia Brown
They all sigh and want to die for Sweet Georgia Brown
I'll tell you just why, you know I don't lie not much
It's been said she knocks 'em dead when she lands in town
Since she came why it's a shame how she cools them down
Fellas she can't get must be fellas she ain't met
Georgia claimed her, Georgia named her Sweet Georgia Brown
No gal made has got a shade on Sweet Georgia brown
Two left feet, oh so neat, has Sweet Georgia Brown
They all sigh and want to die for Sweet Georgia Brown
I'll tell you just why, you know I don't lie not much
All those gifts, those courters give to Sweet Georgia Brown
They buy clothes at fashion shows with one dollar down
Oh boy, tip your hat, oh joy, she's the cat
Who's that, mister? It ain't a sister, Sweet Georgia Brown
That's exactly how I play the rhythm part to this.
Am I the only one hearing sympathetic ringing from the tailpiece/headstock? Is that desirable?
You're right ! I try to avoid these sounds as much as possible when recording but it's not always easy (there's always things I can improve). You have a great ear if you can hear that !
G6 ! Not just G.
Haha ! In jazz standard notation, adding "6" or "69" or "Maj7" is an indication. In gypsy jazz, the most commonly played chords are 6, 69 or plain major chords. By the way if you listen carefully you'll here the 2nd guitar plays a G69, which I didn't noted so that it can be easy to read.
@@guitareimprovisation love the reply! your backing track is very useful - esp fun with the speed options 1.25 1.50 1.75 ... I have a question for you ...
