I had the pleasure of knowing Richard for a short time in the early 2000's. He was not only a great actor, but also a very intelligent and interesting man and I'll always cherish the time I spent with him.
Ever since I saw Mr. Richard Lynch in the seven ups, I was hooked on thisbawesome, talented actor....I hope he is resting happily in heaven because he was the greatest...GOd bless his soul
He was a great actor and I have always been a fan of him. I have collected his movies and guest appearances on tv shows on VHS tapes and on DVD for many years. I also have articles and photos of him; and through a friend I got his autograph. It is very sad that he is gone. I miss him very much.
I always find it amazing the actors who keep working year in and year out year after year never the star but always busy and earning a living in what has to be a very tough business to succeed in, actors like Richard are and were reliable and always had work , a good hand to have around
1989 he taught me about that..way of life..nice man to work with. We had a lot in common. He said his favorite film he made was Vampire. 1979 (he had a large painting of that character above his toilet upstairs) Around 1989 he moved to Yucca Valley where he died alone... I worked with him on "Alligator II: The Mutation" (1991) I visited him around 1989..He had a collection of hats behind his front door (before he moved to Yucca Valley) a thing for candles, Pepsi, cigs, and playing musical instruments.
Yes he married Lily but she didn't follow him to his Yucca Valley home in 1989...I don't know what you meant about 'I heard that" (I wasn't in any internet group) I worked with him and knew him......and liked him!.... I like his film "Open Season" the best.
Sorry I meant I used to be part of online group that followed his career. I do not watch much tv or entertainment news anymore, just heard of his death a few days later. and how he was found. I loved that movie as a late teen (waaay before twilight, every vampire movie imo pales by comparison)and have a dvd copy of that film and a few others.. I heard it was supposed to be part of a series but didnt happen. I tend to admire actors/actresses that are not on the A list. Not interested in big stars.. I only hope before he passed he knew how loved he was loved by so many people and was an influence. I am not in the business, but admire his contributions and courage. Hope that makes sense. You are very lucky to have met him.
I love Richard Lynch I keep thinking he's gonna flip out and do something crazy. Just watching this interview is scary. Sorry nobody can top him as far as villains go.
Roger Miller I can hardly believe he is gone sometimes. Seems like yesterday I first saw him on tv ('Vampire') movie. Remember the time clearly. HS alone at night and I was about to move to a new town. Time goes fast.
WEOT62 I never really saw that movie but I did have it on VHS for a while a little after VHS's when obsolete thinking I would watch it someday! He was in a movie called Good against Evil and I don't understand why it's never listed in all the movies he's done.
Roger Miller I have a new channel called Westend theater over on Upload Society It should be on private view for subscribers tho (as well as a separate music channel) Do not want to PO anyone off there;) .. I need to check in this weekend as I been MIA. Wow RUclips really messed up with insisting we all us Google + . Sorry just a side comment but I hate it (YT) comment section now. So confusing.
I remember meeting Richard & Jorge rivero.both veteran actors who starred in Werewolf. Both very nice, very intelligent. And neither were ashamed of making werewolf lol.
So so wish he was given better acting opportunities. Not 100% on this but I believe I read that he played Richard III as a young actor in NY. Would love to see his early NY stagework. It would be cool if some sort of videotape, etc. exists of him during this time. He mentioned a daytime soap. Would love to see it.
@@LudicrousScotty101 when you realize that the only movies that Hollywood can come up with now are remakes of horrible Topgun, and mindless Jurassic Park, it makes you yearn for good seventies fare like, Scarecrow, and The Seven Ups, among others. After the seventies, actors stopped acting and movies became special effects trash.
@@michaelconnor5378 well iguess so. and yess ive seen seventies and eighties psychological thrillers and horrors that would turn the modern movie goer white n disgusted. they rule

I've always enjoyed his work; one of the screen's greatest villains. I HAVE seen him as a hero, in RETURN TO JUSTICE, another obscure film.
I think I saw that.
I have this complete interview from Richard Lynch in the disc of the film "The Premonition". Nice interview!
Ignacio
such a wonderful guy and a splendid actor always....Took a real travesty and turned it into a total asset..
He’s right in what he says, very lucky. Most of us get to never do what we want and end up in a shitty job.
perfect villain actor
Hoy, 19/06/18, se cumplen seis años de la muerte del talentoso actor, Richard Linch. Inolvidable, versatil, una gran persona.
Love this - thanks for sharing your world with us!

He always scared the hell out of me.

Rostov!!!
What... did you tell him? How could this be?
Saw him on an episode of Charlie’s angels
Invasion USA - The Sword and the Sorcerer - Scanner Cop. Three of my favourites.
I always thought he looked like Rutger Hauer.
When younger he and Christopher Walken were kind similar too.
A true actor.
good man.
My favorite actor ever ❤️ Rip
No question, Mr Lynch 1940-2012 was an underused talent. He acted Pacino off the screen in 'Scarecrow", 1973.
guy reminds me of Bad dreams 1988
Yes its the same actor. He passed not long ago.
well i didnt know he passed sorry to hear. But bad dreams is the only role i really know him from.

Stole the show in Scarecrow.
