You are the only one who has explained and demonstrated this necessary knowledge. I now think my Jasmines will flower much more! Thank you! 🙋🏻♀️🌸👍🌸🙋🏻♀️
When I prune the dead flowers off, can I also just prune off the nearby leaves just to keep it neat? I want my flowers to regrow. Also is it a problem is Arabian jasmine receives direct sunlight for the whole day? Some people say they can't get direct sunlight
@@gunmetal2445 yes, I would prune the matured leaves as well to encourage new branches. They require full sun to part shade. If the afternoon sun is too hot then try to put a shade cloth. But usually it should be ok.
Yes, same rules apply. Even though mine is climbing jasmine I still like to keep it bushy and prune it heavily off the season. The jasmine can get to 12 feet in height if not pruned down. The plant can also be cut back to 3 feet from the ground annually to force new healthy shoots and prolific blooms.
Hello Lavanya, I would like to request a clarification on "flushes". Do you mean within the flowering season of the plant, or more specifically to a plant or branch? Thank you! 🙋🏻♀️🌸😀🌸🙋🏻♀️
Dhanyavaadh. Leaves pruning can be done to matured leaves more than 3 times a year. When you see new shoots from the nodes don’t prune. Idea of pruning is TAKING MATURED LEAVES OFF SO PLANT PRODUCES NEW BRANCHES.

More to a branch.
After the season is over in winter trim them back to encourage bushy branches.

Hi this jasmine variety is Bella of India. It’s not Arabian jasmine. Thank you just letting you know the correct name of plant 😊
Oh glad to know that, thank you. 😊
Brunda is wrong......this is Arabian jasmine
Brunda is right! This is Belle of India not Arabian jasmine.
