I didn't realize how much I needed this episode. Jonny and Impulse have quickly become my two most inspirational Minecraft content creators but they're so different in style, method, and personality. Hearing them chat about Minecraft together felt a little bit like a comic book crossover event, and I loved every second of it.
Great to hear Impulse back on the Spawn Chunks. Love the chemistry in the Imp and Skizz collaborations. “Naked and Scared” is probably one of the funniest Minecraft series of all time. Kudos to Pix’s amazing builds in Empires. He’s excelling himself this season.
Joel, trap doors are your friend in those diagonal pixel touching situations. The trick is to see it coming and choose a block palette that includes one of the available trap doors….lol! A trap door adds another pixel depth….one on this block, one on the other block, and now it’s three pixel depth of “communication”.
How come I don't know this awesome podcast, oh boy! Guys you need to advertise and plug this podcasts in other videos. I'm looking at you Pixlriffs. I feel like I haven't missed a Hermit Recap video and never herd of this being advertised. Keep up the good work guys. Now I have to listen to 207 podcasts!
The way I understand 'Good artists imitate, great artists steal' is a bit different. The idea is that someone who's 'good' is steadily absorbing other inspirations from others and working within a space, and adding those 'imitations' over time to slowly develop and improve. Great artists, in contrast, are so singularly powerful, and they dominate the space so much that nobody else can work within it without being compared to them. Think of Tarantino and crime dramas. His works were so compelling that nobody could do a film within that space without being compared to Tarantino, or contrasted against Tarantino, or being seen as a response to Tarantino. He 'stole' the crime drama film for decades.
@@The_BlOb I mean yeah, when we are comparing voices they're never going to be perfect matches. It makes perfect sense that Impulse doesn't sound exactly like Tango or Fwhip, and Fwhip doesn't sound like Scar. But in the question of "who does Impulse sound closest to?" My answer would be Tango, to me Impulse has a similar grain in his voice
Probably. Fwhip sounds exactly like Scar to me. It's been messing with me ever since I started watching Empires Season 2 of Joel/Lizzie/Scott/Pix/False/Jimmy. I get fooled nearly every time. I never mistake Scar for Fwhip though.
I wud be 3 cited about MC Legends...if I cud actually have access to mu main account on my ps4. 3 months after the switch to bedrock it signed me out and I can't signed back in on my ps4. Sucks when I play o e game with my main and have to sign out and sign in to another to play on my own realms. I've called/emailed 4j studios, Microsoft, Sony, Xbox, Playstation, and e en went on several help sites and Noone can help....so I lost my dungeos account and I'm not starting that over and I will NOT be making a new account on a new MC game. So I won't be buying or playing any new MC games until I get my account back

If anyone is interested in the Dwarven game Pix was talking about, it's called "Return to Moria" and it's essentially a dwarven V Rising
Nice shoutout to the amazing Pooka

Fun conversation
Weird RUclips recommended but good video
Love it 😃
Am I the only one who thinks Impulse sounds like Fwip?
Fwip sounds like Scar
TBH I think he sounds more like Tango
i don't see it. i think fwhip's voice is a tad deeper than impulse, and he speaks a lot faster than scar. and tango's voice is a lot more nasal-ey

Congrats on 1000000 views!
Where can we see updated videos of Joel's citadel? Or is it only on twitch, his last RUclips citadel upload was 2 years ago.
First! Will edit with my two cents after I finish it,
