Automated Chart Patterns have arrived and they're available in different tiers to our members. Press / on your keyboard or open the Indicators menu at the top the chart. Once the menu is open, click Technicals on the left-side and then the Patterns tab.
Automatic Chart Patterns can be used in a number of ways including the following:
1. Save time and spot patterns quickly.
2. Double check your work against an automated system.
3. Discover patterns you may have otherwise missed.
4. Specialize in specific patterns and detect them instantly.
5. Study prior patterns to be better prepared when they develop in the future.

This is game changing. I added this today, and instantly saw it map out exactly what I charted the day before, confirming my patterns. To immediately map out patterns that I may have missed in the moment or are currently forming on every time frame is really cool to have.

Would appreciate it if Trading View could consider developing and offering a real-time user-defined technical scanner on your platform. Traders have varying strategies and preferences when it comes to technical analysis. A user-defined scanner would permit each trader to set their own criteria, ensuring that the tool aligns perfectly with their trading approach. Thanks.

Hi. I'm loving this Indicator it's fantastic. I'm going to sign up for the year membership, I just have one question first. When will I know the signal is confirmed? As I have been trading based on the tool and on a couple of pairs the indicator signal (eg: double top, head and shoulders') disappears off the screen an hour after i enter trade, before the target is reached or failed. Thank you.

Good Day. I keep seeing the NEW highlight on the All Chart Patterns as well as the individual Chart Patterns. Is it possible to have it removed once one has updated on their Trading View? It would be less confusing. Of if not that, on the All Chart Patterns page, add the last update date. Thank you, Trading View has been a game changer for me.

This will come down to your own research and backtesting and/or comments from other traders here. We'll look to provide more insights and stats when we get them.
Essential & Plus plan users can't use "chart patterns"; need premium and above which are quite expensive plans.
Could you please put Harmonic AB=CD pattern, it’s my favorite pattern and its the only thing holding me off from subscribing to the premium plan, Thanks

Hey don't worry - this is just the start. We have plenty of new features and tools being released weekly, for all plan levels. While Premium members do get full access, our team is always searching for other ways to help our community.

Exactly. If you can't afford it, save up your money or even work a job (or second job) for a few months. Trading isn't going away anytime soon. You'll have a bigger advantage with a larger account.

It's nice, but it's also a bit sad to see because all these indicators are taking away the actual effort, persitance and passion people needed to do to understand trading.

How’s it sad? If anything, the indicators will make most people lose money. If someone doesn’t understand price action, then they won’t notice their precious indicators failing while they’re long on a beautiful short setup.
