    Seeing 70 series on skinnies is quite refreshing.

      It helps the fuel economy a lot. I think it looks better too 🤙

    Is a lift next Mark when you get some $$. The rear looks a little low where the toolboxes and mudflaps are? Great to see both vehicles in the wild.

      Good question Richard. I might go with a small lift. These vehicles are surprisingly high from factory so I may get a small lift that’s rated to weight being carried. I have the bar work up front and now the weight in the back so a fresh set of suspension would be a good idea for sure

    Current set up looks perfect for Fraser. If you go for less than a week, you're doing it wrong 😉

    • @NorthOz
      @NorthOz  9 месяцев назад

      That’s the plan for sure! 2 weeks is the goal. Any recommendations for good spots?

      @@NorthOz If you have 2 weeks. I'd stop around Eli Creek first day and camp around cathedrals. Swim and get into island mode. Then waddy point ( my favourite). From there fuel up and head to sandy Cape and the north west of the island.
      After that you have what ever time left to explore the middle of the island lakes and rainforest sections.
      The other way round and you'll be rushing back from the north end.

      @@NorthOz also to give you an idea of time. At Christmas I went from Brisbane inner north side ( near chermside) to wathumba Creek with kids and trailer in around 9 hours. That was 2 x 15 minute stops and 30 minute wait for the inskip barge ( they take payment on board, no need to book)
      Pre pay vehicle permit and camp fees, but get vehicle permit sticker and maps from the shell station in Rainbow Beach.
      Best of luck

    If your brother is interested for 600 delivered I got a full set of Brown Davis Bash plates. They are seriously good and cover everything. Standard ones don't cover transmission. Bolt up in 15 minutes or so.

      Thanks Richard! I’ll have a chat with my brother about it. That’s definitely on the list so we protect everything underneath 👍

    Tail pipe and rear mud flaps will be an issue up the Cape.........maybe a 2 inch lift? Only old men and women drive autos.🙃
