- 1970's Gleaner Combine film "Bringing it Home" featuring the Gleaner L, M, and F, combines Taken from the out of print "Machinery of the Past" VHS
I like how this film is as long as a normal 70’s movie.
Very nice👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Imagene what a feeling if you could travel back in time😊
my dad has a R72 and I love the sound it makes
I live in Quebec Canada, and when we arrive in rural places of the region, there is a lot of them old or more recent
I loved this! They even covered rice and grass seed! Thank you! I want more!
Dad ran CH Gleaners and then upgraded to GH, MH, and MH2 as they came along over the years. We had an N7 up until last year when we bought an R62, but my goal for when I take over the farm is to have a couple MH2s as well. Great machines!
Gleaners were and still are the best combine made.
100% Spot on.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally right gleaner all the way!!!!!!!
One of my favorite videos on the internet. Thank you!
Thanks for up loading this fantastic video from the quite humble times then of farming as one can recall a few promotional films from a Gleaner dealer at Aussie field days as a teenager.
Thanks for posting, love Allis Chalmers.
Like stepping back in time! Love it!
I remember going to look at a new F Gleaner with my dad circa 1978. He ended up buying a used 4400 Deere the Allis dealer had taken on trade because the new Gleaner we looked at already was sold and the dealer didn't know when he could get another one and dad's combine was flat wore out. Still have an old K Gleaner on the farm and cut a few acres with it each year.
This was Gold vid👍Loving old Gleaners, funny half million in custom cutting operation back then, you would be lucky to buy new combine maybe without front for same price in today dollars. It would be interesting to see 4 L models go head to head against S9.👍
The S9 wouldn't have a chance against 4 L3
I have to disagree, My S97 can do what five L's can do in soybeans. On a good day two thousand bu. is abought all the L can do, we cut on average ten thousand bu. a day.
@@gleanerman2195 baloney
@@gleanerman2195 OK 5 then. :)
They call us the rising power in farming 🎤 😂
When I came along in 1960; I remember my Grandpa having an "F" Gleaner. I loved riding with him on it & playing on it.
My dad traded in his 2-E gleaners for a L combine. First time he had a cab on a combine.
Nice to see those old gleaners !
The great silver fleet then and now
I love Allis Chalmers 👍
I love our familys f2 and k2 and m i think i love allis we are orange forever
Great stuff
I still can't see a Gleaner and think Baldwin
GLEANER: "All The Way For Usa"
If I could I would buy the allis chalmers name and make it American again
Does anyone still make Gleaner combines since Allis Chalmers is no longer with us?
Yes, AGCO makes them now
@@JandLVideos Thanks. I remember that AGCO took over Allis Chalmers some years ago and then canceled the brand name.
