The header and linking feature on this device is such a brilliant UX move. Makes navigating an eink device so much easier. And thanks for the contents page idea! Makes so much sense.
Thanks for doing this video Kitt. I really enjoyed watching it with my Monday morning wake up coffee. For me this short format in which you demonstrate how-to steps is really valuable. Being able to achieve a "quick win" is encouraging such as the table of contents idea, which id not considered using as a global index for the device. Anything similar for the Air3C would be great, as you point out that there is a real difference in learning curves in the eink family.
Kit so glad you did this video, I was going to respond to you on the comparison video and say, this type of video would really be helpful particularly for those new to the SN ecosystem or still learning from other devices such as the rM2. Seeing it actually being used and tutorials will be great from you in 2024. We already seen enough rM2 vs.. videos.
I actually like this because that’s part of the challenge with the rM2, you can’t add a pdf to your templates. See this helps the case of why I’m starting to like the SN. Not knowing this was one of the reasons I didn’t like the SN because I couldn’t add pages to my PDF’s but now I see how vs. rM2 where you have to have a third party app to install as a PNG file to your device and it gets erased at each update depending which one you use. They do however allow you to add a PDF and you can add pages and use, just not add to the native templates. This is the type of stuff we need know.
Hey Kit, really like your reviews. I've been waiting to see what Remarkable is going to udate to a 3 soon compared to the Z6X2. I want to replace using notepads on my desk ( I like using a stand 8.5 x11), one for persoal and one for work. I also need the simplest model that I can go back and lookup quickly past notes. Right now, I have to flip back pages or use sticky notes on the edge for more important things. I want a pad to that I combine both and clean up my work space. Be great if you can do a an updated post that covers a user like me :)
Hiya, that's very interesting. I really think you'd like the way that you can organise your notes on Supernote. The tables of contents are great and you can also search through them. Remarkable has tags for pages and books which is also a good way to get around your notes.
Would you be kind enough to explain how to insert a plank pdf page? Also, supernote used to have a function while reading that you could insert a page before or after in the reading area I loved it because I was able to read and insert a pg after the page i was reading to take notes and simply slide back and forth. It seems they too this out. Is there a work around? Thank you for your videos I went with the supernote nomad and heart pen two based on your recommendation. The only issue is noted above I used to be able to insert pages while reading and I absolutely loved that feature. Thank u sir
Good question. I don't think so. (That's the type of thing Ratta are very good at adding actually, so fingers crossed.) But you could in effect link to another document, that was like the index of that folder. Might get a bit complicated, or even you could just have the index of any given folder being a page in your main contents page.
Watched a few of your broadcasts. V. Interesting. I have been using a rocketbook to take notes and write really confusing diagrams. My major problem with that is that it is only a4 and I wish there was a3 reusable paper. I may have not seen it but do you have a post on the differences between using a rocketbook and supernote
What about writting samples. The main main reason for E- ink is writting. All surrounds it. All others I get from Ipad. Ioad is must . The question is can I use Boox for writting instead of rewirtable 2. Boox can never be Ipad. It took apple many many years to becone what they are so this competition is doomed. Not even starting . Again is it precuse in writting and and do all the functions that supports writting ( shapes , straight lines , photos upload to a sheath , synch , mailing , sharing to a printer !!! ,micro SD card ..) work smoothly and with many options. This shoukd be a writting and a reading tool and sharing tool. It can't be a computer . For that we have Ipad ans Sumsung TAB and Lenovo Yoga. Writting is a lot and if it is very very very good writting experience with having the ability to type than might buy one of this company devices. Might be Air 3 c.. since the camera on the c ultra as viewed totally sucks. If tge writying ecperience is smooth and natural and a bit rounded as a natural hand writting then this might be very usable for studing and work instead of paper assuming the quality is transfered by printing onto paper. 😂😂😢😮😮😅😅😊😊😢😂😮😮😮 For all writting apps in apple Ipad once you print a note to a paper the quality is so bad so what's the point of having nice writtings on a tan or an Ipad or a notebook yet on a print paper very bad results . So printing experience is also very important ; The ability to directly share a print from a note book and get excelent results on a print paper like you actuslly wrote itbon the print paper with no quality lose.

Perfect timing once again Kit. Just what I needed to sort things out on my SN. Cheers.

Cheers, yeah many thanks for that. I'm certainly trying to bring more instructional videos in the near future, so watch this space!
Thanks for tip on PDF as templates, going to use that for sure.

Think the manual is now on the device again.

Hi! Can I copy region from pdf and paste it to note?
Is there a way to link to folders instead of documents? Great video to get me started on the A6X2 though!

Hiya, many kid thanks for the feedback. I'm still yet to try the rocket book, but I know a lot of people swear by them!
Only thing we need for PDFs is being able to set to-dos
