Love this card design. I'm going to make 2 if these as Christmas cards for friends in New Zealand. I'm wondering if the ribbon is necessary or if a belly band would also work. My reasoning is that when the card is open the ribbon just seems to "flop" behind the card. 😉

I had a really hard time entering the 5th larges die in the back panel. Any tips? Despite measuring I couldn’t quite get them consistent. Also, when joining the white pieces I end up with 1/4 inch extra. Your picture shows one piece 9” x 31/4” and one 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 . When you assemble you say the one piece is 8” (not 8 1/2) so I’m not sure how long it should be. When I glue the 1/2” piece to the next section it’s 1/4” too wide.
I see that this video was done over a year ago. I am hoping to get an answer. I also do not have the die cuts for the inner cutouts of the 5th and 6th rectangles. Could you please give me those dimensions? Also - one lady mentioned the 8.5" dimension was off by 1/4" .... and that your video said "take the 8" strip....." so what is the correct dimension for that one, too. TIA
See my issue was with where to score the inside panels. It's written on there but she slipped over talking about the score and just said how there's a lot of pieces but it's fun. 🥰 So looking at the scores on the 9" long one it says @ 1/2 but at bottom it says 5 1/2 ??? Also what measurement do I score it at?
