Every time I reread Crazy Love and it tells me to come back to this video it is so needed. So much truth about the love of God and we all need to hear this often.
I LOVE his book. I have grown up in a Christian family my whole life and even though I am young I am saved. It's hard at times being in middle school but this book has really kept me on track.
Wow, I hadn't really thought about life that way. I had grown up in a church but I had my moments where I would fall away from God and these are one of those times that I wish that I had a guide, other than God so I can get back to God. He has such a way to describe how powerful and awesome God is, but it will never truly describe his vast wonders.

God saved my life when I was a baby. A pound and a half. I've always always always trusted in God since the day I've been born. Though I've only been to church once, and I want to go more. Just, lately I've been so stressed that that I've been doubting God, even though I do believe that Jesus was real and gave his life. I don't know what to do.
I am glad I was intersected by this book (or the Lord guided me to place my eyes to see this book)... Just today I was thinking about this little details from the Lord our God... He is beautiful! I'm re-reading Crazy Love for the third time now because I'm going on a 30-day journey with God and I know this book for the first and second time I read it, really brought everything I needed to hear into perspective for me. It honestly changed me.
jaymzjay..you know there's this saying.."i would rather believe in God, even if there isn't one, than not believe in God when there is one...either way, you and I will both find out one day." 10 years ago I was prayed over and felt the Holy Spirit..physically felt him...whether that's crazy to you or not, I don't care. I was doubting in God's existence and He showed me just a glimpse of how real and powerful He really is. I will never doubt God again. I pray for those who have hardened hearts to just be opened up to the possibility of God, and He will make Himself known. Just ask Him. If you choose not to, it makes me wonder why the subject of God weighs so heavily on your heart to argue with Christians...maybe because that is biblical. Jesus said that would happen. Look it up for yourself.
I missed Church today so decided to watch this because I got the link sent to me. It really makes me miss my Christian life. I mean I'm still Christian. I was saved years ago. But living in a world with so much pain, it's hard to remember-- recall how it feels to be inspired by something I can't touch. I'm happy I saw this today. Puts me back on that mountain. bec donelan As a cameraman and Christian evangelist I disagree. The slick HD video is a given these days. Its quality far surpasses the 144p that is just above cheap mobile phone footage. People are aware of these things. Youre right the message on its own should captivate them but it makes for a better delivery if its wrapped up in HD quality video.
I agree. Paul said he adapted to the people he talked to. He could have said "The message on it's own should touch them", and it's true, but he still made the effort to put himself to the level of hid audience...

Loving God is a life changing event. God already loves you but when you love him he will show you just how much he loves you. His love will sustain you. I too have gone through difficult things in life: my mother has had a psychotic break, my dad a stroke, all in a span of 3 years, just to name a few things. My life has taken a lot of changes but God is the one constant in life. He never changes: his love is complete and he is the same ALWAYS. And the qualities he has, are AMAZING!
I love Francis Chan, I recommend his books to my congregation, and I have greatly benefited from his ministry but there is a pretty big error in this particular video that I think Francis Chan would pick up on but sadly most American Evangelicals would not. About 12 minutes in he begins speaking as if God longed for every single person to accept him and be in a relationship with Him, at one point he says, "God is begging you." Francis Chan knows this is not true and I have heard him preach it, God is fully satisfied in Himself, He is not going to be sad for all eternity weeping over those who would not say yes to command to repent and believe the gospel. In fact the bible tell us that He chose all whom He would save before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:3-11) and that He chose them based upon His will and not anything in them good or bad (Rom. 9). The Love of God for sinners chosen before the foundation of the world to repent and believe the gospel is a crazy Love indeed. Jesus tells us in His high priestly prayer that it is the same love the Father has for the Son. The Bible says this love is for believers from every tribe, tongue and kindred of the whole world, please don't cheapen it by lying and casting the awesome love of God indiscriminately at the feet of every single person ever born, knowing full well that God does not lavish this love on those who will spend all eternity in Hell. We who believe are to reflect His love to all, not to declare His love upon all. For those who will spend eternity in Hell, the reflection of God's love seen among men in family and from believers is the only love of God they will ever know.
What good is the bread for the lost if it is never shared? How can it be shared with the statement 'you were never chosen', especially from one who should know full well they cannot be the judge? Yes, shine the light of love, but please, remember to love your enemy. Ecclesiastes 6: 12 For who knows what is good for a person in life, during the few and meaningless days they pass through like a shadow? Who can tell them what will happen under the sun after they are gone? We have one message, and that is the message of Jesus. If the spirit ever calls you to say to someone "you are not chosen" what spirit are you responding to? Then, if someone who has not been selected makes their way to God because of this message don't you think the meeting is between them and God, Who is well able to handle the encounter?
WolfeSandy One parable is how God refers to us as his sheep and he is the Shepard. He will always place you in a specific place in the church or set you aside for task/s aka preacher, gifts of the spirit, to become a missionary, etc. That scripture is for death.

The spirit will never tell you are not chosen for anything because he loves us for the "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." or "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." -2 Timothy 1:7. Heaven cannot have sin because sin is basically a rebellion to god's ideals. A sinner going to heaven would void needing Jesus. Did not they sacrifice animals for everyone's sins in the old testament? Did that work out? Although saving people is good it must be done in the right context or time or you might push more people away then help them.

This caused me to review the post that initiated this stream, and I stand by my choice. *^_^* When Francis Chan says says, "God is begging you." he can only be heard by the living, not the dead. I️ was told that he found himself standing in a long line, waiting to sit with God. Once his turn came, he sat to the right of God and God spoke to him of his life, thus far. My dad was shown by God all the things he had done in his life that Pleased God and all the areas that God told him ‘he needed to work on’ then Thankfully, The Lord sent my dad back to his earthly body in what I️ believe was a gift of time to work on the things they discussed. Although I️ was told that OUR relationship was what God told him he needed to work on and due to other influences, it was not resolved in the way I️ believe God intended; i can ONLY PRAY that Gods forgiveness AND CRAZY LIVE accepted MY BEAUTIFUL DADDY IN TO HIS KINGDOM ON DECEMBER 9th, 2016 WITH OPEN, LOVING, FORGIVING ARMS! I saw Francis Chan speak a few weeks ago at a church conference, and it truly changed my life. God is so great, beautiful, and beyond perfect. No words can describe Him. Everybody watching this video has been brought here by God and God only. It's amazing to see how He works in our lives, yes?

just think one day we christians will be with HIM!! It's so hard to fathom the slightest things on earth as it is. We only have to trust in God and follow him how simple has he made it for us?
Does anyone else see how powerful words can be if used correctly. Love is Power, and he's found that out. And, he's taking his time to help us find that too. God Is great. Greater than the mind could possibly fathom....And he loves us....that's a wonder in itself. Many times i find myself convicted and broken, but this, this opened my eyes to another aspect of God.
Love, patience, understanding..........finding a common ground, these things are all foundational, and incredibly difficult to master. God, transform our hearts so that we can love others, in spite of ourselves.
The love God has for us is beyond our comprehension. He loves us without an end. He wants us to know Him better as we grow not just by ourselves, but with family and friends. Our future spouses, our children and then some. His love is never failing and He wants us to share that love with the whole world. He is the giver of life and the forgiver of all sins, no matter how great or little they might be, He will still forgive them, all you have to do is call on His name and He will accept us.

This changed my life. I'm serious. I have been a Christian since last May but this just made me stop and think. I mean really who am I to judge myself? And I just can't grasp at how much God loves us.
I appreciate your sincerity and earnestness. I used to tell people the same thing when I was a Christian until I decided to study the evolution of religion and the Bible. Every culture the world over passes religious beliefs of some kind from generation to generation. I have never regretted the time and effort I put into finding out the truth about my misguided belief in the supernatural. All it takes is a desire for truth and an open mind to recognize and appreciate reality.

Back in 2007 my arm was seriously hurting for a little over a year. I was an active person. I was 12 years old. Anyways So my grandma is a minister and i told her about my arm. I knew who god was but never saw his work...until then. She prayed over my arm and the pain was gone. Its unreal how that happened. But God did it. Its not a mind over matter thing cause trust me I tried to stop thinking about the pain. It was healed and right then. That was my proof GOD was real.
I met a very inspirational man once, he said "Christianity isn't the easiest life, but it's defiantly the best"...that man changed my life forever with only ten words

Everything good comes from God and it is so amazing that he shows us grace so we can accept him and not get what we most definitely deserve. Sadly, in 2012, there are many other youth going through what you're probably going through because of the breakdown of family values. But, don't give up- God is our hope through life's storms. I think the message for the most part about loving one another, taking care of the earth and enjoying your time here is timeless. I don't think it needed all the religious talk however. Quite often that makes people turn away.
Amazing video from an amazing author. I am only about 1/3 of the way through the book, but I can tell it too will be amazing. This video made me look at God's love for me in a new light. I always knew His love was immeasurable, but when I imagined one of my own children on the cross as Jesus was, I realized I really had NO idea. I couldn't bear the sight of my child up there, but God went through it for ME... wow.

I, a few minutes ago was one of those people who said Yeah, I believe in God but never really have a relationship with him. After watching this video I am ashamed of my attitude toward God. He had his son Jesus die on the cross for our sins and still loves us. His love is truly amazing, just think about it...

I've not been to school for the past 3 weeks because of stress, and arguing with mum, I have family issues and finding amazing people is hard to do. I met a friend on the internet who lives in Pennsylvania (USA) and means everything to me, I am doing everything that I can to save money to see him. Even if it takes me 2 years. I will do anything. He showed me this video, and it made me think, being a christian could mean something good. :')
I have thought recently about my own dear mother being crucified on a cross for my behavior and sins. The dearest person I love. I find that HORRIFYING ! Therefore I now understand what the perfect creator God has done for me. Too bad so many do not understand what the perfect GOD has done for us to save us from eternal hell ! Oh, how I pray that so many of my loved ones would come to understand the love of God ! It's never been about the WORLD, yet it is so beautiful and mind boggling ! But it's not about gathering the riches, the SELF IDOLIZING THINGS ! It's about OUR ETERNAL LIVES THAT COUNT UPON OUR DEATHS THAT COUNT ! Loving God is a life changing event. God already loves you but when you love him he will show you just how much he loves you. His love will sustain you. I too have gone through difficult things in life: my mother has had a psychotic break, my dad a stroke, all in a span of 3 years, just to name a few things. My life has taken a lot of changes but God is the one constant in life. He never changes: his love is complete and he is the same ALWAYS. And the qualities he has, are AMAZING!
I love Francis Chan, I recommend his books to my congregation, and I have greatly benefited from his ministry but there is a pretty big error in this particular video that I think Francis Chan would pick up on but sadly most American Evangelicals would not. About 12 minutes in he begins speaking as if God longed for every single person to accept him and be in a relationship with Him, at one point he says, "God is begging you."
Francis Chan knows this is not true and I have heard him preach it, God is fully satisfied in Himself, He is not going to be sad for all eternity weeping over those who would not say yes to command to repent and believe the gospel. In fact the bible tell us that He chose all whom He would save before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:3-11) and that He chose them based upon His will and not anything in them good or bad (Rom. 9).
The Love of God for sinners chosen before the foundation of the world to repent and believe the gospel is a crazy Love indeed. Jesus tells us in His high priestly prayer that it is the same love the Father has for the Son.
The Bible says this love is for believers from every tribe, tongue and kindred of the whole world, please don't cheapen it by lying and casting the awesome love of God indiscriminately at the feet of every single person ever born, knowing full well that God does not lavish this love on those who will spend all eternity in Hell.
We who believe are to reflect His love to all, not to declare His love upon all. For those who will spend eternity in Hell, the reflection of God's love seen among men in family and from believers is the only love of God they will ever know.
What good is the bread for the lost if it is never shared? How can it be shared with the statement 'you were never chosen', especially from one who should know full well they cannot be the judge? Yes, shine the light of love, but please, remember to love your enemy.
Ecclesiastes 6: 12 For who knows what is good for a person in life, during the few and meaningless days they pass through like a shadow? Who can tell them what will happen under the sun after they are gone?
We have one message, and that is the message of Jesus. If the spirit ever calls you to say to someone "you are not chosen" what spirit are you responding to? Then, if someone who has not been selected makes their way to God because of this message don't you think the meeting is between them and God, Who is well able to handle the encounter?
Telling people they are not chosen is as arrogant and wrong as telling them they are chosen before showing evidence of having received the New Birth.
WolfeSandy One parable is how God refers to us as his sheep and he is the Shepard. He will always place you in a specific place in the church or set you aside for task/s aka preacher, gifts of the spirit, to become a missionary, etc. That scripture is for death.
WolfeSandy we are a unique creation by god, he will always love us. The spirit will never tell you are not chosen for anything because he loves us for the "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." or "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." -2 Timothy 1:7. Heaven cannot have sin because sin is basically a rebellion to god's ideals. A sinner going to heaven would void needing Jesus. Did not they sacrifice animals for everyone's sins in the old testament? Did that work out? Although saving people is good it must be done in the right context or time or you might push more people away then help them.

This caused me to review the post that initiated this stream, and I stand by my choice. *^_^* When Francis Chan says says, "God is begging you." he can only be heard by the living, not the dead. So, his words are apt, for every living person has this hope.

I thought during this video of my Daddy who i miss so very much right now and EVERY DAY AND NIGHT!! 2 years before he died, after lung cancer surgery or perhaps it was during, I️ will never truly know.. anyways, my Daddy received the GREATEST GIFT and I️ wish I️ had heard about it DIRECTLY FROM HIM but I’m so happy i DID EVENTUALLY hear it the days before he passed to be with God. 2 years before leaving his cancer riddled body and leaving us to be with OUR FATHER, my Daddy actually met The Lord! I️ was told that he found himself standing in a long line, waiting to sit with God. Once his turn came, he sat to the right of God and God spoke to him of his life, thus far. My dad was shown by God all the things he had done in his life that Pleased God and all the areas that God told him ‘he needed to work on’ then Thankfully, The Lord sent my dad back to his earthly body in what I️ believe was a gift of time to work on the things they discussed. Although I️ was told that OUR relationship was what God told him he needed to work on and due to other influences, it was not resolved in the way I️ believe God intended; i can ONLY PRAY that Gods forgiveness AND CRAZY LIVE accepted MY BEAUTIFUL DADDY IN TO HIS KINGDOM ON DECEMBER 9th, 2016 WITH OPEN, LOVING, FORGIVING ARMS! just think one day we christians will be with HIM!! It's so hard to fathom the slightest things on earth as it is. We only have to trust in God and follow him how simple has he made it for us?
Does anyone else see how powerful words can be if used correctly. Love is Power, and he's found that out. And, he's taking his time to help us find that too. God Is great. Greater than the mind could possibly fathom....And he loves us....that's a wonder in itself. Many times i find myself convicted and broken, but this, this opened my eyes to another aspect of God.
Love, patience, understanding..........finding a common ground, these things are all foundational, and incredibly difficult to master. God, transform our hearts so that we can love others, in spite of ourselves.
The love God has for us is beyond our comprehension. He loves us without an end. He wants us to know Him better as we grow not just by ourselves, but with family and friends. Our future spouses, our children and then some. His love is never failing and He wants us to share that love with the whole world. He is the giver of life and the forgiver of all sins, no matter how great or little they might be, He will still forgive them, all you have to do is call on His name and He will accept us.

This changed my life. I'm serious. I have been a Christian since last May but this just made me stop and think. I mean really who am I to judge myself? And I just can't grasp at how much God loves us.
I appreciate your sincerity and earnestness. I used to tell people the same thing when I was a Christian until I decided to study the evolution of religion and the Bible. Every culture the world over passes religious beliefs of some kind from generation to generation. I have never regretted the time and effort I put into finding out the truth about my misguided belief in the supernatural. All it takes is a desire for truth and an open mind to recognize and appreciate reality.

Back in 2007 my arm was seriously hurting for a little over a year. I was an active person. I was 12 years old. Anyways So my grandma is a minister and i told her about my arm. I knew who god was but never saw his work...until then. She prayed over my arm and the pain was gone. Its unreal how that happened. But God did it. Its not a mind over matter thing cause trust me I tried to stop thinking about the pain. It was healed and right then. That was my proof GOD was real.
I hope you are a believer. God wants you in His family. Believe in Jesus Christ and His resurrection and be saved and be with Him in Heaven.

Amazing video from an amazing author. I am only about 1/3 of the way through the book, but I can tell it too will be amazing. This video made me look at God's love for me in a new light. I always knew His love was immeasurable, but when I imagined one of my own children on the cross as Jesus was, I realized I really had NO idea. I couldn't bear the sight of my child up there, but God went through it for ME... wow.

I, a few minutes ago was one of those people who said Yeah, I believe in God but never really have a relationship with him. After watching this video I am ashamed of my attitude toward God. He had his son Jesus die on the cross for our sins and still loves us. His love is truly amazing, just think about it...

i dont belong to a religion and i think thats the best way to stop and truly think that no one can change your life except you one day the dream will end and you will look back in your life and smile even if you live your life doing bad things but i the grand scheme everything you did in your entire life makes you and who you are and when you are on your death bed just think and know that this was a good life.

I'm a 15 year old boy, having a hard life in SE eng. I've not been to school for the past 3 weeks because of stress, and arguing with mum, I have family issues and finding amazing people is hard to do. I met a friend on the internet who lives in Pennsylvania (USA) and means everything to me, I am doing everything that I can to save money to see him. Even if it takes me 2 years. I will do anything. I have thought recently about my own dear mother being crucified on a cross for my behavior and sins. The dearest person I love. I find that HORRIFYING ! Therefore I now understand what the perfect creator God has done for me. Too bad so many do not understand what the perfect GOD has done for us to save us from eternal hell ! Oh, how I pray that so many of my loved ones would come to understand the love of God ! It's never been about the WORLD, yet it is so beautiful and mind boggling ! But it's not about gathering the riches, the SELF IDOLIZING THINGS ! It's about OUR ETERNAL LIVES THAT COUNT UPON OUR DEATHS THAT COUNT ! Our lives that count upon this world, our love for God, our love for one another ! Amen !!
