I'm from South West Louisiana and never learned the Cajun jitterbug. Number 6 is how my grandmother tried to teach me. They are all close to the original dance but some have added to it. I'm up here in Arkansas near mammoth springs and they don't dance like that here.

@@trishgowl7192 Thank you so much, Trish! I actually RUclipsd "It's Zydeco", (thinking that was a song), and - I swear this is true - a great little Sesame Street video came up. But when I looked up Hathaway Two-Step, I recognized the song, but I have to say that this is by far the best version I found.
@@3technique Yes, that Sesame Street video is great and informative! The band on stage at the festival is The Huval Family Band. They are wonderful performers.

I live in England and we have Northern Soul.Watching this Cagun dancing gave me the same uplifting feeling..its the free spirit,but togetherness.
