Brian, Amazing video. This was absolutely what I was looking for and you explained it so I could understand it. Thank you so much for making these videos and please make more.
English is not my mother language...but watch every singole minute of this video worth all the effort to translate in my language for understanding some missing part that I was in difficult to catch 😅. Thank you so much
Any attempt in analyzing a Company without that knowledge (where the money goes) is worthless. Now if you have the courage to go deeper in this topic you would really become an authority in this YT space. Each line of these statements would deserve its own video
Great informative video, Brian! However, I miss hearing about your investments at the moment + about your take on single stocks like Stoffel does now. There so many exciting things going on now related to AI and it would be interesting to hear your view on specific stocks. I've still got access to the podcast serie through Motley Fool called Industry Focus with the weekly tech focus in which you often times participated. It was a great show with the walkthrough of numerous IPO's, spacs and "wildcards". Despite of only being a few years old (the show) it was a time when nobody really used the term AI as we do now. Anyway, just to repeat, it would be really interesting to hear your take on AI. Have a great Sunday evening!
I really love videos like this-they make everything seem so clear initially. However, when I try to apply it to real company statements, I often feel overwhelmed by how complex and hard-to-read they are. Do you have any tips for bridging the gap between learning the concepts and confidently analyzing actual financial statements? I've also looked into courses like Wall Street Prep, CFI, and BIWS, but there are so many options out there that it feels overwhelming. I often don’t know which one to choose, and I end up doing none of them. On top of that, when I do try, I find myself pausing frequently to grasp certain concepts or terms. How would you recommend approaching these resources to get the most out of them without feeling stuck or lost?
It’s all about exposure! We do have a premium course that goes into more details about analyzing financial statements. More details here: www.longtermmindset.co/courses/the-buffet-method

Simply the best short-class that I have seen on RUclips regarding corporate financial statements. Thanks!
Wow, thanks!
Better than my graduate class in accounting. Slow it down just a bit and this would be the ideal video.
Thanks for the feedback. I try and make these videos as concise as I possibly can. You can always pause and rewatch if you need a refresher!
This channel is criminally underviewed.
❤️
Brian,

Wow - thanks so much for the kind words. More to come!
You‘re always able to inspire me with your videos, Brian.
I appreciate that!
Excellent summary of each of the three statements. And, more importantly, of the logical connections between them.
Thanks for watching

Nice synopsis.
Thanks for watching & commenting
CAPEX is linked to amortization not depreciation I believe.
Capex represents buying things you can touch. Things you can touch depreciate. Things you can’t touch amortize.
Do you do any live training classes?
Yes! StockInvestingMentor.com
