20:58 Textbook example of Jimmy and Ant riffing and then... LET'S GO TO THE PHONES I have to correct myself. That call was really funny and definitely worth it. Usually "showstopper" is a compliment, but never in Opie's case.
I can never find it on RUclips, but I could swear I remember, from the late 80's or early 90's, some kind of commercial about abandoned kids, where some people in a station wagon left a kid in the middle of the road and he's waving to them as they drive away. I have no idea if it really existed or if I'm just imagining it because it's so weird. I think there was a reference to it in the Frank Grimes Simpsons episode, where they had the news segment about Frank Grimes' life. I think they said his parents abandoned him and they showed him standing in the middle of the road, waving to them as they drive away, just like in the commercial. Does anyone have any idea what the hell I'm talking about? Maybe they were talking about abandoning pets or something and said, you wouldn't leave your kid on the side of the road, why would you do it to your dog? I don't know.
Before countries like NZ, Australia, Britain etc started to clamp down hard on the major causes of road fatalities with stiffer penalties and hardcore campaigns like this one, the deaths per 100, 000 people were largely on par with the US. Right now, America has a 10-11 per 100, 000 people annual toll. Aus has about 4.6 per 100, 000. Some of 'em are a little too Hollywood, like the Irish one. Plus the very Irish guilt trip of 'Could you live with the shame?' is over-saucing the pudding a bit. The Kiwi one is bang on. It doesn't throw a message at you, because it should be pretty evident to anyone but psychos.
Sorry but that is "PSAs work" bullshit has been debunked multiple times. I miss them though for laughing my ass off. I drive like a maniac to this day. Sometimes dunk.
I'm trying to find the funniest child hunger psa to make fun of my friend for not having food in his house. I have to make him feel stupid for asking me for help before I bring him some food
20:29 Reminds me of that Irish PSA about reckless driving that Jimmy cracked up laughing at when the car rolled over the kids.ruclips.net/video/45USIUE3qgE/видео.html

Lol talking about being sick of “Flo” and this clip is at least 10 years old and Progressive still use her and Geico still uses the Gecko. I must say I was 1000% over Flo since the first commercial but I do still like “Mayhem” or whatever for All-State
"Hey Stanley, lets throw hot oil at that Indian guy on the side of the road!"
"That cigar store thing is crying" lmfao

But now I’m stuck in a dead-end job
With a moron, a pervert and a ghoul.

That crash commercial is great. Make more of those! If it works. Use it. Some people have no imagination. Give em some!
30:05 "I know you're not happy with the Jew son but this you have to figure..."
Line of the day. Classic Anthony Cumia
21:25 "I heard you...you said it twice."
"No one's bringing me one." lol
Silent shot at opie
A screeching halt you can feel it
Dude this might be the worst example yet of Opie just vacuuming all of the air out of the room.
The hump day commercial scarred me so bad i couldn’t listen to it here, had to fast forward.
"That's how my dad died! Leave it alone!"
@Tory Shaye I said, leave it alone!!!
He almost sucked all the air out.
"Never don't make it about you." - Gregory "Opie" Hughes.
You know Opie is edgey when he keeps saying "injun"
That verbal tic annoys the fuck out of me. He does the same thing with "warsh" the lines never even get acknowledged, yet he persists.
@@DenpaKei ant also always says warsh but for some reason people only focus on dopie
I’ll be honest, the injun thing didn’t bother me. I kinda like it when he calls Sam “Sambo” and talks about injuns
Opie needs a washed up PSA
The PSAs start around 7:40. They ramble on about other commercials before that.
Its the rambling on I came for!
@@065Tim Me as well, lol
Something, something mom. Something, something dead.
How have i never listened to these guys im rolling on the fucking floor.
I remember all of these
"Bling Baby"
I'm dead. lol

“As a child of the 80’s”... opester, u were born in like 1958
Temmie Plays! He was born in 63, that makes him 18+ through the 80s, opies little bitch
@@Stonewall29 = -= then he's saying a child, but he's over 20?
yeah man, you make way more sense lol.

How bout da agony of da arm? Fulk yea
IRN BRU is not beer lmao and it's so ubiquitous in Scotland it's insane. You see old people drinking it, young people drinking it, EVERYWHERE.
They've had multiple different voice actors and designs for the Gecko since the first commercial.

If only that last kid would of shut up and saved his strength.
why didnt the dad take his boy out of the car while time was stopped
Oh wow... Umbrella Corp
Shitting on the Opester is fun but that shit with the dad and the commercial kinda made me sad. If I remember correctly, that was very true.
2:39 It's Todd
The mom drinking thing was like a wack Eminem poser lol

"When you did see funny commerical". I honestly can't remember even one ever. Only ones that crack me up are PSAs where kids die.
Yeah, okay. Lol
Keep saying ingin op proper funny
That new Zealand commercial was done in the US but not that intense…
"Other people make mistakes" was my vacourite. It's just natural selection.
I really forgot how racist this show was.
Give an example. Making fun of races isn't necessarily racism. It's called comedy
I knowwww... I miss fun too.
