Reminder that DDRJake, when he did this achievement, stayed as a vassal for about 40 years for no reason at all, and then 300% over extended himself to annex the Ottomans just to culture convert Istanbul to Kurdish before the end of the game.
0:36 You can just click on the requirements and it will highlight the provinces even if you leave the achievement tab. That way it's easier to see and navigate around the different provinces you need
Yes a new series. Just wanted to say I'm new here, and I appreciate your skills in this game. Defiantly my favorite RUclipsr, the way you calculate all the modifiers is fucking great. Good day man.
The difficult part of playing in this area is how poor the area is, it's extremely difficult to generate income here which makes it hard to maintain the army you need to dominate
Well, it's only his own area (historical Armenia) that's poor. Mesopotamia, Persia and Anatolia and the Levant are all very rich, so once you get going, you can snowball quickly. It's a hard start for sure though.
Lithuania should get some paganism events...since the Gedymin dynasty was only really christian "by name" and from the longest time prohibited (mostly Catholic) missionaries in their land
I'm just trying an Ajam campaign right now actually. They're not so bad, but they're dependent on RNG. If the Timmys don't blow up or at least don't get their subjects disloyal before 2 years after start, you're pretty dead. I did have to savescum on the first years of that game but I'm doing quite cool.
Arumba's bald head/kratos-beard combo arouses me.
Slowly turning into a CKII character.
Daddy arumba is best arumba
Mmmmm yes
He looks like a default runescape bot

Well i mean, he got provinces he claimed for technically free form his overlord :D
To be fair, that's mainly because Jake refused to take loans and to debase currency.
"Don't die and blob". That's the best sumery of EU IV you've ever gave.
I love the personality you bring to your Solo EU4 gameplays, only other person that does commentary like you is quill18.
They used to play together some years back too. Really cool let’s plays.
well there's Siu-King and Florryworry I guess
Well, that weirdly worked out in the end. I thought we would see a retry in the first episode.

Hisn kayfa = the fortress of kayfa
Keep the fort 😅
Arumba looks like chemistry teacher.
I like how he unconditionally surrenders and then just immediately snaps back up like nothing happened after that condottieri contract.
Finally Hisn Kayfa
Finally, single player and nice achievement!
The difficult part of playing in this area is how poor the area is, it's extremely difficult to generate income here which makes it hard to maintain the army you need to dominate
I played as shammar and have decent income from contolling basra
Very true i love playing in West asia but it's very slow. plus the timmies/whomever has persia and Turks are such powerhouses.

Well at least AQ is allied to both Candar and Karaman too so their Otto relationship will not last
Just an fyi if you click the progress bar for achievements it'll keep the provinces outlined
I really wished that you'd do a Ardabil shahanshah in to this is Persia run.
Well at least you are playing at middle east.
Already starts with a Saladin (Salah al-Din) as ruler, nice.
Lithuania should get some paganism events...since the Gedymin dynasty was only really christian "by name" and from the longest time prohibited (mostly Catholic) missionaries in their land
No one is a fan of the catholic missionaries in the medieval times.
christian monarchs usually are

Digging the new beard, Arumba 👍🏻
How do you make the map look like that? Is it a mod?
It is. Don't know which one though.
@@mackmasters325 dayum.
Quick question, how does arumba pull up that diplo interface at 3:47? I've never seen that before.
Arumba has his own hotkeys mod. It's probably part of that.
When are you going to do another Albania play through?
ally ottomans -> promise dulkadiri land -> favours -> beat AQ & QQ -> ez game
Just need that lucky friendly status from the Otto Turks .

Jesus, EU has changed so much in these years that there's no point in going back. Thanks, Paradox.
Yeah.
I haven't played seriously since the estates became a thing. They pissed me off with the changes to forts, but that was the last straw.
Wtf is that turban in the thumbnail lmao
Arumba, You ever going to make a "Victorian Three" achievment with Buganda?
Kind of bummed out that it's going to be submerged.
