Different people have different requirement. I been with ASICS GEL NIMBUS ever since I tried and dump Nike, Adidas, Brook running shoes. For a person with severe lower backache, and feet pain after run, gel nimbus allows me to run pain-free during run and post-run.

And every time people would ask me what I was wearing, I would tell them: “this are my magic shoes” and boy did I run far. I ended second on this year’s Germany spartan race finals, but recently they started really degrading to the point that you see more sock than shoe!!! Anyway, now I’ve come to know that I’ve been wearing the 6 year old model!! Hahaha this just tells me that often the only barrier is yours mind
Glad to hear you say ASICS Nimbus is heading in the right dirección! Glycerin are a D grade shoe IMO. Outsole has no life. Cushion wears down after about 20 hours of use, cue the joint pain. Sounds like this nimbus is the better shoe.
Jamie, I'm curious. I'd really like to get your thoughts on the Asics GT-4000. Is there any chance you review this shoe? Becuse it doesn't have a "Gel" look it seems to be much less shoe.
I own the Nimbus 21, and i have to admit that i like them as a longer distance training shoe.. To me they fit into a good rotation with the Boston 8's, the Rincons and On Cloudsurfer 5. I'll have a look at the 22's or Kinvara 12 as a replacement, but I am not too proud to admit liking the Nimbus (needed it a size bigger than usual, but once i swapped the smaller ones, they were perfect).

I have a weak ankle because of a calcification between my ankle and shin bone.so i cant bear shock as it cause inflammation. looking for a new gore tex shoes, which model can you advise me ? Thanks a lot in advance.
Funny that women's offset is larger although womwn's feet/shoes are generally shorter than men's. So already with the same offset the angle between women's feet and the ground is generally bigger than men's. This is now even exaggerated with a higher offset. Conclusion: a lower offset for women than for men would make more sense.
theres not really shoes for "under pronators/ Supinators". Typically you'll just end up with a NEUTRAL shoe. sometimes a wider based or something with a bit of stiffness can help. but even then the shoes are design for a neutral foot-strike. if you happen to under pronator you'll just stick to neutrals shoes and AWAY from shoes with medial postings/stability shoes.

You really should try the Asics Gliderides. I haven't tried them myself, but it seems EVERYBODY loves them!
My first running shoe was the Asics Gel Nimbus 16 and I ran in that bastard until it was worn down to the MAX.

The nimbus 22 will likely get you more usage, buts it's bit more shoe to carry around
