I need to get a pair of these before the summer start. We sometimes train on an old school dirt track that basically "eats" modern running shoes with exposed foam. Because this shoes has a proper rubber outsole it will not only last longer but also provides you with more traction.

It’s great to see many companies offering better budget shoes these days. However, when it comes down to it will it satisfy? It’s also great marketing to get folks to jump brands even. My recommendation is patience and luck. Outlets are treasure hunts and prior year models alway go on sale. My mentality is always go big or go home...but it don’t necessary mean emptying your bank either. Finding local run shops is another option for deals. The local Roadrunner Sport stores do two annual Outlet sales a year and my local store rents out a vacant store or lot to hold these sales where they unload demos (still new) or gently used customer returns. The past weekend sale, I visited two times and scored! All shoes are $60 or $55 for multiple pairs. Scored gently used Endorphin Pro, Triumph 18 and Speedgoat 4!!! Not joke! Condition still look new as if shoes were taken around the block. And found brand new Freedom 3 and Caldera 4! Xmas came early indeed. I had my dealings with budget shoes and never was happy. I will still hold onto patience and a lot of luck!
This deserves far more views in so grateful that I can now find a speedy road shoes without fancy carbon fiber and for good price too thank you jami+Meg

We the hyper speed is a racing flat so seems reasonable priced compared to the zoom streak, 1500 series. These would be sick for track repeats and some fast mile repeats!
What would you recommend as a good road mile shoe(also may take on the track occasionally)? I run the mile right around 4:45ish and run mostly on my toes so idk if that changes anything. I’ve never really given my shoes much thought until recently thanks to your channel to be honest, and based upon the random shoes I’ve been running in I don’t think cushion really matters to me.
At what point can a slower runner benefit from some of these shoes that come alive at faster paces? I hear over and over again that certain shoes preform and feel better after a certain pace is reached. Is a slower runner looking to run faster in high performance shoes wasting month if he or she cannot run fast enough to get the intended use out of the shoes?
